I would like to know whether Trump has passed Reagan, for the title.

Actually.

Ya think? [eyeroll] In other news, bears have been known to relieve themselves in heavily wooded areas.

This belongs up there with Obama as a “great” President.

Trump is unique. I like him. But one of the top 5? Not sure if the vote is in on that yet.

I sure would hope so, Lincoln admitted destroying the republic for the sake of the union, Trump certainly appears to be trying to restore the republic. The union isn’t going anywhere as long as it is the teat the states suckle on....

Beating Lincoln the Tyrant is easy.

Trump is the best President since Coolidge but he has a ways to go to catch up to Coolidge.

It’s not a fair comparison just as it isn’t with Reagan. Different times with different norms and issues. A different mindset with the people and an entirely different dem party on the edge of wanting socialism. That’s not something this country has ever seen.

Plus the Internet has a profound effect on the speed of information and interactive forums which the previous (good) Presidents didn’t have to contend with. Trump is a master at using the Internet as a tool. Most people who get to his level are fairly clueless. They usually have other people handle that kind of stuff.

I personally think Trump will be the shining light for all future (good) Presidents to aspire to but in their own way of course.

The only thing that keeps him from being better than Washington is the fact that Washington gave up power not once, but twice.

More proof Republicans are pro slavery and racists - Lincoln freed the slaves.

Since you’ve brought up Pres. Lincoln; do liberals know that Lincoln never would have been president if we didn’t have the Electoral College?

Lincoln was a bloody unconstitutional tyrant who destroyed the original Republic the Founders created.

Trump on the other hand is a great president who has revived America’s economy, avoided costly foreign adventures, done a great deal to secure the borders, and appointed numerous judges to the federal courts who will actually uphold the constitution.

No.

How about those so anxious to say yes here let him finish 2 terms first.

and why is is to important to compare the two here?

It seems sometimes like some here are itching in the crotch to say he was better than Reagan.

Bringing down the USSR, setting the path for THIRTY years of unequaled prosperity, bringing the US from the Brink after 4 years of carter, everyone take a ####ing pill and say they’re both at the top and stop talking tough about a man that changed the course of the country and the world.

“I would like to know whether Trump has passed Reagan, for the title.”

Given all he’s had to go through and as much as he has accomplished, I’d say his accomplishments are better than Reagan’s first 3 years in office. However, to properly assess his success, I think we need to wait until his time in office has been completed.

When Reagan was president, I wasn’t much interested in politics and failed to appreciate him until after he completed his time in office. But now, I have a much better understanding of what he accomplished. Is Trump there yet? Probably not, but he still has 5 years to go.

IMO, he has been a tad more conservative than the Ronald. Wished he had the ability to speak like Reagan though.

I appreciate the president, but that’s kind of a silly comparison. Nobody alive today was alive during the Lincoln Era. But even this lopsided question was apparently enough to trigger a lot of Libs. Now they say we’re ‘in a cult’.
Stop with all the projecting, Libs!
