On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “The Story,” House Judiciary Committee member Louie Gohmert (R-TX) stated that calling Hunter Biden as a witness is “more of a sideshow.”
According to Gohmert, that was because Hunter Biden didn’t hold a government position.
Gohmert called for the whistleblower, former NSC employee Abigail Grace, and former NSC employee Sean Misko to be called as witnesses.
Host Ed Henry then asked Gohmert about calling Hunter Biden as a witness.
Gohmert responded, “That’s more of a sideshow. Because the real corruption is not with Hunter Biden. He wasn’t in a position of — a government position. The question is Joe Biden.”

My friends who are otherwise conservative will say ooh that trump is so arrogant.
He’s not. He just unashamedly knows his strength - intelligence and education with finance and people-smarts.

My head wants to explode at the lunch table listening to them. I calm myself, to some degree, by remembering their adult children whom they raised to be polite, kind and charitable. They’re all sweet and they’re all a mess. It all makes sense. Spoiled rotten. But I don’t feel too god about it.

Bad call or deep state call. It’s one or the other.
This much I am inclined to intuit: Reports of Hunter Biden’s behavior are not cobbled into some fake dossier.
I will say this much. A parent is inclined to defend his or her child. It’s a good instinct.
So, if the overall objectives of the dirty tricks investigation can be accomplished without dragging Hunter through the mud then that’s fine with me.
Do it anyway because it will torment Joe to watch his remaining son’s character (or lack therof) laid bare.
In fact you can bet he is pulling in every favor he can to prevent it from happening.
Hunter Biden is a beneficiary, accomplice and co-conspirator in his father’s kickback scheme to steal taxpayer money. It’s perfectly right and proper to call him as a witness, he was up to his neck in it. Hopefully he and his father will end up in federal prison before it’s over with.
Surely, Joe will share pictures of his new grandbaby during the questioning.
