The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has arrested 90 additional foreign-born students in recent months in a sting operation at a fake Michigan university designed to draw in students who are trying to stay in the U.S. illegally, according to a new report.
The University of Farmington advertised a "dynamic business administration and STEM curriculum” program, but the students, mostly from India, "knew that they would not attend any actual classes, earn credits or make academic progress towards an actual degree,” according to a January indictment.
A total of about 250 students have been arrested since the school opened in January on immigration violations by U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Immigration lawyers said in March -- after 161 students were arrested -- that the students did not know it was a fake university at the time.

It’s not a totally factual story.
This idea to create the fake university came up in 2015 (Obama team era), and it was created by ICE itself. ICE did come around around 11 months ago to admit their creation, and what they’d accomplished.
What they mostly did was entice 8 to 10 Indian recruiters to be the funnel that brought in the illegal crowd. Each guy took some kind of cut.
So ICE helped to bring them into the country, then got lawyers involved to deport them, then got defense lawyers involved to do appeals, and then actually got to some deporting action.
90 is better than nothing and it is good news. Especially, that ICE is thinking outside the box and changing tactics to catch folks. But, when that number is goes up to about 90,000 or more, every 6 months, we can start popping bottles.
Sounds like they created a lot of jobs.
Whether they had that idea originally, is unknown. It’s kind of funny....dozens of universities (legit operations) are in bed already with the fake student business. They would have been more productive in going after the fake students that way. In this episode, they simply laid out the trap in their own backyard, and enticed the recruiters to bring in the ‘students’.
Yes, there is something really wrong with this sting. We’ve had thousand of Chinese “students” who are actually spies go untouched and tens of millions of illegal drains on our system from Latin America that ICE did relatively little about—and then they went through this whole ruse to draw Indian foreigners in to zap them?
Sounds like a grotesquely inefficient program set up by the Obama admin for somebody’s profit or some other attention-shifting purpose.
I’ll point this out...the fake university in question...was in Farmington Hills, Michigan (about 40 miles west of Detroit). I would imagine the local ICE chief had tons of free time (since it’s not on the southern border) and dreamed up this way to puff up his numbers.
In some way, he sends out a free-entry ticket...gets the recruiters heavily involved to do the leg-work, and then sits back to watch everything fall into place for the curtain call.
The real question...where is that chief today, and how did he get rewarded?
Why only 90? There are by some recent reports, over 29 million illegal aliens in the country. Presuming Trump gets reeelected, that’s around 16,000 people deported each day.
16K a day genuinely impossible.
UNLESS, they self deport, they got here on their own so they can GET OUT the same way!
For that we have to convince them that they MUST leave, the bennies are dried up ands they are not welcome.
Remaining must become increasingly uncomfortable.
How we accomplish THAT as citizens without being arrested for “Hate Crimes” or some such is THE big question.

Looks to be standard ops for alphabet work. Create the crime, then brag about how they stopped it.
It will never end until Congress throws Kennedy’s Immigration Acts plus all his BS out. Go back to what worked. If is not broken do not try to fix it.

Depends are where you live and which coast you are nearest as far as which illegal foreign group you are concerned about. Of course we want any illegal out, no matter where they are from. The IT industry is already overrun by H1B and green card workers from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, we don’t need illegals from there to pile on.

U.S. born and raised graduates are being ignored and discriminated against because the H1B and green card workers are considerably cheaper to hire. A big part of the reason they’re so cheap to hire is they come without the need to have payroll taxes deducted from their paycheck.
They should have kept the sting going, or done it in other states, but now they blew their cover.
