That's because ANYONE who questioned the idea that Gorsuch and/or Kavanaugh were anything less than Scalia 2.0 were immediately shouted down on FR and told over and over again that their "judicial philosophy" is ORIGINALIST! ORIGINALIST! ORIGINALIST! ORIGINALIST! ORIGINALIST! ORIGINALIST! ORIGINALIST! ORIGINALIST! ORIGINALIST! ORIGINALIST! ORIGINALIST! ORIGINALIST! ORIGINALIST! ORIGINALIST! ORIGINALIST! ORIGINALIST! ...and that's ALL that mattered.

Their personal beliefs, backgrounds, associations, statements, etc., supposedly weren't worth a warm bucket of spit, as long as their "judicial philosophy" was supposely "originalist"

Somehow it magically meant Trump "kept his campaign pledge to give us a staunch pro-life, solidly conservative judge in the Scalia mold", simply because THEY said he was.
