Of course not, the objective was to plant evidence to be further used for FISA warrants.
They tried to plant evidence on George Papadopoulos and he refused to go along but they excluded that exculpatory evidence.
They didn’t try to plant evidence on Carter Page. They just submitted a falsified FISA application in order to get the FISA warrant to spy on the entirety of the Trump campaign.
They kept it going with renewal into the Trump presidency.
See, they’re innocent according to the NY Slimes.
And the IG will recommend “increased employee training” to make sure “these unfortunate, but unintentional, lapses are not repeated.”
Yes, this is what happens when the government (Horowitz) investigates the government (DOJ/FBI).

The report will be a “mixed bagged”. Horowitz found no evidence of an organized Coup involving multiple branches of the Government including high ranking military leaders and units such as the 101st airborne division.

Well now that the NY Slimes reported that the yet-to-be-released report states in no uncertain terms that the FBI did nothing wrong, there’s no reason to waste time reading the report once it’s released.
It’s great knowing that the tireless journalists at the NY Slimes, using undiscovered evidence, assures us that we can go about our lives without worrying that the Obama regime, the only administration in US history that never had a single scandal, not a smidgen of corruption, was pure as the driven snow in every way.
How comforting to know that Barack Hussien Obama, mmm, mmm, mmm, our dear leader, loved us, one and all.

Good point. Under Obama the FBI made moves to put its men to work for Hillywood and the media. Makes sense now
