Chick-fil-A Donates to SPLC, Anti-Christian Group linked to Shooter that Stormed Family Research..TR
Family Research Council ^ | 11/27/2019 | J.P. Duffy, Joshua Arnold

Townhall.com has uncovered an IRS 990 form showing that the Chick-fil-A Foundation contributed $ 2,500 in 2017 to the anti-Christian Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).

“Tax reports have now exposed Chick-fil-A for funding the anti-Christian Southern Poverty Law Center; an organization linked in federal court to domestic terrorism after their smear campaign of Christian organizations resulted in a shooting in which the gunman planned to smear Chick-fil-A sandwiches in the faces of his victims.

“Not only has Chick-fil-A abandoned donations to Christian groups including the Salvation Army, it has donated to one of the most extreme anti-Christian groups in America. Anyone who opposes the SPLC, including many Protestants, Catholics, Jews, Muslims, and traditional conservatives, is slandered and slapped with the ‘extremist’ label or even worse, their ‘hate group’ designation. At one point, the SPLC even added Dr. Ben Carson to its ‘extremist’ list because of his biblical views (and only took him off the list after public outcry).

How Naive. The ones they are doing this for won’t eat there anyway and the ones they are abandoning will abandon them in return.

Are there any other Christian supporting fast food chains? I had heard that In-N-Out Burger has Bible verses on their food wrappers. Can anyone confirm or list other chains that openly support Christianity?

I tried them a couple of times but its just an overpriced chicken sandwich.

Now I don’t have to feel bad about not patronizing them anymore.

SPLC would be the deal breaker to me. I’ll go to the store, buy some chicken and cook it myself.

Actions have consequences. CFA will see what those consequences are as their profits drop.

Yes. In-N-Out always has. The first In-N-Out was across the street from my High School (Graduated in ‘66) They were doing it then and are still doing it now.

Well said.

They may well see an erosion of sales and support from people of faith. But the liberals whom they apparently are trying to placate, won’t go to Chick Fil A anyway. So as a business decision, this was stupid to do.

Makes you wonder, who the hell at Chick Fil A thought it was a good idea to make all these public signs of support for the liberal side of our culture .

If they think they can placate these evil people, they had better wake up and realize they will always be targets by them. Idiots..

Wow. I wasn't going to turn on them just because they stopped funding expressly Christian organizations -- I don't require my food to be ideologically oriented. But supporting the SPLC is a bridge too far for me.

I'm done with them.

If Chik-Fil-A is truly donating money to the Southern Poverty Law Center then I will go hungry before I ever again set foot in one of their locations.

What’s so difficult about just making decent chicken sandwiches at a profit and staying the hell out of political controversy?

Like I said in another thread, I put my 2 weeks in at the CFA I work at. it had nothing to do with what’s going on currently, but when I read something like this, I am even more glad that I am stepping away from the place.

Not saying I’ll never eat there again, but we frequented CFA quite regularly. Won’t be doing it now.

Donating to the SPLC is like donating to the KKK. They are a hate group.
