Pity the poor progressive Democrat trying to choose a candidate in this primary season.
Marianne Williamson speaks their language, but they know in their hearts that she'll never be president. Andrew Yang wants a massive new welfare program, and that's always good, but Yang can't even get respect from MSNBC, much less a majority of delegates. Kamala Harris is mean to criminals and other living things, so she's out. Tulsi Gabbard is mean to Hillary Clinton (PBUH), so she's out, too. There are a bunch of white guys from red states that progressives have barely even heard of, and clearly aren't to be trusted. There are three really rich white guys -- well, one of them is black, but he worked for a hedge fund -- or four if you include Joe Biden and his newfound millions. But progressives haven't really been comfortable with a white guy since Clinton, who was born a poor black child or something.
So if you're a concerned progressive (is there any other kind?) you're pretty much left with Pete Buttigieg, Bernie Sanders, or Elizabeth Warren. You fear that Mayor Pete can't win the nomination, because of his very real problem with black voters. So now you're down to Sanders and Warren.
Warren hits all the right buttons: She's female, she may or may not be some kind of minority, she wants to tax the bejeebus out of rich people, and she supports Medicare for All. And at mere 70 years old, she's in the middle age bracket of your party's potential nominees. What's not to love?
Well... there's that secret fear, that nagging itch, that in her tone and composure Pocahontas might be a little too much like Hillary Clinton to beat Trump. And you can't have that -- not again!
That leaves Bernie.

Bernie is going nowhere. You can’t have a heart attack during the campaign and then win the nomination.
After the current flock of losers fade, HRC and/or Moochie will be there to save the day.
I have seen Steyer commercials constantly. His money sure does not seem to be going to good use if he’s at 1.5%.
Might want to wait until people start casting votes.

If there is an impeachment trial in the Senate early next year (which I am increasingly in doubt), can Joe Biden’s candidacy survive all the dirty linen about his and Hunter’s dealings that will come out?
I’ve been seeing Bernie ads at the beginning of many Youtube videos lately. He looks old and is starting to get that frail look that many elderly fade into. There’s no way he’ll look energetic enough to have a chance in the General election. Not to mention, he’s the epitome of everything the Dems claim to stand against: an old, white, rich man who didn’t even get where he is by working.
Don’t be fooled, Steyer with his “white cat” and little Mikey Bloomberg aren’t running for president. They just need cover to spend millions of their dollars destroying the President of the United States on TV. IOW. They’re both frauds.
Now that's a winning formula for the socialists!..........smirk.
The ONLY remaining question is WHO will get to take the TOTAL BEAT DOWN from Trump?
Trump would wipe the floor with him. And that would be in the first 5 minutes. Then what would they talk about?
Bernie would just wave his arms and hyperventilate until he collapsed from another coronary...
As long as Biden has the black vote locked up, no one else stands a shot....
No democrat has won the nomination without winning the black democrat primary vote... not since they started separating it out in their polling back in 1976.
Right now, that group, is and has been solidly Biden’s....
Now, it is possible that someone could hack some coalition together to win the nomination without it... but if they do, they will be crushed in the general.. even more so than they are going to be otherwise.
Bernie’s support are largely young college kids... and hard core socialists.. they will not abandon him until he is no longer an option... Which is why his support levels have been largely steady the entire cycle...
Won’t go up much and won’t go down much....
Pocahontas releases her plan to play for her “Freebees” and even the left wingers realize, yep, that ain’t going to work, and she drops double digits... She’s a terrible candidate.. her support is the overeduvated white guilt hippy crowd... She never had a shot.... Look at the pictures of her “HUGE” rally in NYC... it was WHITER THAN A SKI SLOPE....
Powder Puff Pete, probably has been the beneficiary so far from Warren’s supporters defecting, but he has the same issues... Black Democrat Voters are not going to show up for Adam and Steve... and they don’t show up to be talked down to. Powder Puff Pete, is probably the smartest guy in the democrat clown car, but that’s a low bar to beat. I think he’s a potential real threat down the line, but I see no path for him in 2020.
Anyone who TRULY wants the White House with a D beside their name, doesn’t want to be the nominee this cycle, because they are going to lose and lose big... THis is probably why the Democrats offerings are so pathetic.
I swear its like someone said, after looking that the 2016 GOP candidates, before Trump entered the race, and said, “have you ever seen such a sorry lot? I can’t imagine a worse set of candidates.” and the Democrats said “Oh Yea?!? Hold my beer and watch this.”
I am so hoping that Butt Gigger will be the nominee. I’d love a 50 state sweep plus the District of Columbia for Trump.
I know it won’t happen though.

Actually she had recovered and risen in the polls, but then the I-was-fired-as-a-teacher-for-being-pregnant came out. It was all downhill after that.
Hey, we’ve had our share of NO WAY IN HELL candidates. We sucked it up and tried harder. It’s YOUR turn dems...lol!
Biden/Bernie...does it really matter..
There are zero statistically valid polls.
Most Americans do not answer any calls of any sort from people not on their contact lists. People are not welcome at their doors.
And internet forums are full of conversations between people who do answer calls about how to lie to pollsters in amusing ways.
Polls are now just used to try to guide opinion and they can't provide accurate pictures even if they want to now.
An attempt was being made to raise Warren up but her campaign is lagging in funding and her appearances lagging in attendance to the point that the pollsters are now portraying a sudden drop to explain her upcoming campaign collapse.
But it won't really be a collapse. It's a never took off and all the cheerleading polls that the people who have invested in her presumed influence bought couldn't jump start her presidential aspirations
But re-electing a popular President and war hero is different from trying to elect a senator and former mayor whose ideas appeal to a minority of one of the two major parties.
