Luxury designer brand, Loewe, was forced to apologize after they produced a shirt and pants combo that a fashion group described as a "Holocaust concentration camp uniform."
"It was brought to our attention that one of our looks featured in a magazine and part of our Arts and Crafts ceramicist William De Morgan could be misconstrued as referring to one of the most odious moments in the history of mankind," the company said in a statement. "It was absolutely never our intention, and we apologize to anyone who might feel we were insensitive to sacred memories. The products featured have been removed from our commercial offering."
The Spanish brand sold the matching striped shirt and pants, which critics quickly pointed out the resemblance to Nazi-era Germany. Together the pants and shirt retailed for $1,840.
Loewe has pulled the outfit from its site, but it was still available at other outlets as of Sunday. Industry watchdog Diet Prada was the first to point out the similarity, stating, "Unable to see anything but concentration camp uniforms in this $1,840 ensemble from @loewes William De Morgan capsule, a collection meant to capture a freedom of imagination.'"...
"But with the particular stripe proportions and layout, uniform-style garments, and prominent chest patches, theres not actually much left to the imagination when the resulting look is so uncannily disturbing," they added...

Me too!
Must have looked absolutely fitting on the anorexic, heroin addict chic models...
Who presented this and are there no Jews in this company?
No Jews and only people with public school education. Almost all I have learned about the fate of the Jews in WWII I had to search out for myself. Young people today have a big blind spot because it is not being taught. Propaganda lives. BDS and that kind of crap. Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat the follies of the past.
Sorry I wasnt aiming this at you friend. I sometimes forget to change the To field to All when making a general comment on the thread.
[[Horrible fashion sense! Maybe people who want to say Im a victim]]
Which is basically the entire liberal party
Concentration camp haute couture.
The 1,800 asking price is offensive on its own merit. But I still say, let them sell it. Anyone who buys it should have their privilege to vote revoked. If they are crazy enough to pay that kind of money for that, they obviously do not have the common sense to cast a vote.

Setting aside the controversy, as horrible as it is- what on earth makes these cheaply thin material clothes worth that much? Gold thread? Platinum buttons?
Looks like they shouldn’t be worth more than say $35 at walmarts-
It can’t be Holocaust fashion since there was never a Holocaust. /s
What genius green-lighted this horror? He/she shouldn’t be allowed to design fashion for Barbies.
I should have sent that the Poster who made the original reply to my Post. He and I have already exchanged PM’s over it.
I am simply amazed how people seem to be easily offended by some things and not others on this Site.
Just a tempest in a teapot to me. I always try to remember that we here are all on the same side of most issues.
The Morons who marketed this Clothing Line are the problem, not any of us making comments about it.
How does the idea for a designer “Holocaust concentration camp uniform” even enter someone’s head?
