Despite claiming to have an "ironclad" case for impeachment against President Trump, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., refused to say if the commander in chief will be impeached, when asked point-blank during a Sunday television interview.
"This president has now twice sought foreign interference in our election... when [Trump] invited the Russians to hack Hillary’s emails and later that day they attempted to do exactly that. There is a sense of urgency when you have a president who's threatening the integrity of our elections," he said on CNN's "State of the Union"
"We need to act now if we're going to act, and we can’t allow this obstruction to succeed," Schiff continued. "The other point I would make is, the case in terms of the Ukraine misconduct is ironclad, but so is the case of the president’s obstruction of the Congress."
Despite displaying supreme confidence in Trump's guilt, the California Democrat was unable to answer host Jake Tapper when asked if Trump would eventually be impeached, earlier in the interview.

Sure. Say that Trump should be impeached and convicted, but the GOP in the Senate biased and need to be removed. Next up, Soros pumping $100M+ in the 2020 elections without so much as a slap on the hands.

First of all....he was kidding....if you put the sentence in context...and you're not an idiot.
Our expectations are low but Schiff can’t even get the timeline right.
The emails were hacked LONG before Trump’s sarcastic exhortation.
Everyone - spies, governments, bad actors - had them.
This is why the ‘but her emails’ crowd are undercutting their own joke.
Even your everyday traffic stop needs an articulated rationale for a constitutional stop - more than these corrupt politicians have.
They are traitors and are engaged in attempted coup - it's not about Trump only, it's about you and I and the future of America as a Free Constitutional Republic.

The Sunday papers are nearly devoid of impeachment talk except for enraged rants against the GOP pols and voters. No change there then.
“Ironclad” while he’s crashing and burning, that’s rich.
The only thing Schiff has proved is the pathology of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
