In 2014, Chick-Fil-A decided to stop funding the Paul Anderson Youth Home because it was accused of being anti-LGBT. But it still had funding commitments with the Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, both of which are also falsely accused of being anti-LGBT because they have biblical policies on marriage and sex outside of marriage.
Now that the funding commitment has expired, Chick-Fil-A says it will no longer fund the Salvation Army and FCA, even though the Salvation Army fits within its giving priority of funding organizations that provide housing and food banks, and FCA provides education. Instead, Tassopoulos states Chick-Fil-A will now fund Covenant House International, which is much smaller that the Salvation Army (in only 31 cities) and an LGBTQ activist.
Tassopoulos, speaking of funding Covenant House, states: This provides more focus and more clarity. At least he is correct, and this clarity reveals the betrayal.
The founder of Covenant House, accused of being a Catholic priest pedophile, was sued for allegedly sexually abusing the youth who were seeking shelter and food. Covenant House proudly promotes LGBTQ on its website, referring to LGBTQ Inclusion Initiatives, and even doing an inclusion assessment at every one of its facilities.
Covenant House also proudly supports the New York City Gay Pride parade with its own float, banners, t-shirts, and hashtag #CovUnity.
Covenant House is recognized as a national funder of LGBTQ causes.
Chick-Fil-A dumps the Salvation Army because it wants to expand into new markets and now shuns originations the LGBT activists falsely call anti-LGBT, and then turns 180 degrees to announce that it will now fund Covenant House, a radical LGBTQ activist organization that celebrates homosexuality, transgenderism, and the entire LGBTQ agenda.
And, Covenant House does not stop at LGBTQ activism, it also takes girls to abortion clinics.

Let's Take a Closer Look at the Pro-LGBT Group Chick-Fil-A Will Now Be Funding: Mat Staver Responds to Franklin Graham
This a difficult article to Excerpt. Since it makes multiple points that all have meaning. I chose to not post the part about Franklin Graham. I suggest for anyone to read the whole thing.
And We wont be funding Chick-fil-A
“We wont be funding Chick-fil-A”
I won’t be. If my money is being used to fund a Hitlery operative, forget it. I can do without CFA.
Chick-Fil-A dumps the Salvation Army because it wants to expand into new markets...
THE WHOLE 2 PERCENT MARKET!! :)
It ALWAYS amazes me how owners of HUGE businesses, CEOs, Harvard and Yale grads...all don’t know that 33 percent is bigger than 2 percent :)
I’m figuring 33 percent of their customers are conservatives. I could be off a little.
i’ve been told i’m a little off :)
Here’s a link to Covenant House policy on LGBTQ:
This is not complicated, said Kevin Ryan, Covenant House President and CEO, We are called to love all homeless young people unconditionally and with absolute respect.
I never really like their food that much, it was just okay, but I felt better for having gone there.
Now, I guess I won’t go there again. Plenty of other places to buy relatively fast food from.
We have not a Chick Fil A nearby, but there is one near where we shop once a week in Moreno Valley. We have been meaning to stop by, and try out some of their menu, but just haven’t gotten around to it yet. I guess we just moved that to the back burner until we hear of what we consider positive moves on their part.
Let them depend on the left for support. Watch the lines disappear.
Nothing but good things to say about them, even as the entire youth counseling movement goes way left.
Disappointing that the Chikfila Foundation dropped them over a false psychological proposal, that of LGBTQ.
Because they were infiltrated. Just like the boy scouts. Just like the FBI. Just like the DOJ. On and on....
It is what the crooked left does best. All coordinated.
It isn’t the 2% gay that is the problem, it is the entire left side of the country. San Antonio isn’t a particularly gay city, but it is is liberal and that’s enough for the city council to block Chick fil a from opening. The real problem is the the 33% on the left is much more effective at putting their money where their mouth is on boycotts than the 33% on the right.
Looks like CFA has done it, great place until this. Now I bet it’ll go under because there are way more of us than of them to support it.
Okay, the left/lgbt got what they wanted.
However, CFA is the best chicken. I will still eat there. Screw all naysayers!
Chick-Fil-A has long been a favorite place to get chicken sandwiches. It was not that their sandwiches were better than anyone else, but it was for the Christian values they represent. By sabotaging this loyalty, thinking it would attract new customers, was a poorly thought-out decision. They think people will come because of the superiority of their chicken sandwiches. That may be a presumption that will fail Chick-Fil-A because of ego and not fact.
FR has always been funny that way.
I hope that was sarcasm. Because if it was not then all I can say is Wow. How scary.
But he's a Leftist so his music therefore sucks.
I only went to one once because it is far away. Honestly I didn’t see what all the fuss was about. It was not that good. And the prices seemed high for what I got. I got some kind of combo and I was hungry when I left. I probably would have gone back though- just to support them. Until now.
I just left a message at Samaritan’s Purse telling them that I hope to hear that Graham has actually done some research and realized that he made a mistake supporting CFA because they have now tacitly become pro LBGTQ.

Regardless of his politics, however, his music is not my cup of tea.
