Springsteen was always a corporate rock creation. Nobody ever called him “The Boss”. That was pure marketing created by an executive. He is the Justin Bieber of classic rock.He was used as a marketing ploy to gullible mom rockers in the 80’s.

Sorry I differ with you. 1) He does not have a great singing voice. 2) He sings as if he is constipated. 3) I do not love or like any of his songs.
