Liberal media outlets were thrilled at Shepard Smith's first public remarks since abruptly leaving Fox News last month. Smith hosted a dinner of the Committee to Protect Journalists, and proclaimed he was donating a half million dollars to the group. Michael Grynbaum at The New York Times reported he called "for a steadfast defense of independent journalism, while offering a few subtle barbs at President Trumps treatment of the press."
Subtle? Intimidation and vilification of the press is now a global phenomenon. We dont have to look far for evidence of that, Smith said. Our belief a decade ago that the online revolution would liberate us now seems a bit premature, doesnt it? Autocrats have learned how to use those same online tools to shore up their power. They flood the world of information with garbage and lies, masquerading as news. Theres a phrase for that.

Yep, I get all of my moral guidance from Shep Smith. (extreme sarcasm)
Did Shep take an unusual number of trips to the restroom?
Democrat journalists. Nothing independent about them. Theyre all the doyens of fake news.
Wonder how long it will be before he shows up at CNN or MSNBC/NBC?
I wonder if they considered being honest and truthful??
Go back to your sheep Shepherd.

Shep will disappear as time rolls by. However..if Fox News does not get rid of Chris Wallace, Bret Baier, Martha Macallum, Chris Stirewalt, Judge Anthony Napoitano, Arthel Neville and a few more deadbeats....both FNC & FBN will collapse as viable cable networks!!!
What was Shemp doing at a Journalists Dinner?
Nobody gives a crap what you think Shep. Go ack to your boyfriend.
This is that faggot right?
His rectum will explode when Trump wins again
That’s only after hours...
“the steadfast defense of independent journalism” There is no such thing. Reporters work in a circle and walk in lockstep.
I liked Smith during his first month or so at FNC, until I realized what an @ss he is.
Betting pretty-face won’t be trashing Peter Butterbutt.
And we have seen the evidence over the past 50+ years for the reasons for the criticism
The American media has turned into a disgrace and has been that way for decades
shame on them for promoting the division the anti-patriotic anti-religion anti-white anti-male attitudes. If they were true journalists they would speak out against racism in any form but they dont. that minorities get a pass as well as most women.
oh yeah and then theres the precious homosexuals Who are the vectors for millions of people around the world who have contracted HIV. We hear more about alleged homophobia and alleged hate crimes than we do about the promiscuous conduct that allowed that to happen in the first place
The media is nothing more than a collection of cowards brainwashed idiots That dont have the guts to speak out and tell the truth
FauxNoose has already collapsed for me.
Hey now! Hey now!
You can’t Say Smith and a$$ in the same Sentence.
Do it again and you will be going to reeducation camp!
