I predict that there will be more scrutiny, not less, of the decision made by the Chick-fil-A Foundation. I am sure the company will revise its response. More nuance will surely be forthcoming because of the nationwide backlash. Nuance, however, is what causes you to lose in politics, get defeated in war and get burned at the stake in religion.

They have an overwhelming customer base at almost every store, every hour, of every day. They don’t need to expand their customer base.

EVERY business believes that it needs to grow its customer base. It's MBAthink 101. It's why scores of retail chains have gone bankrupt and out of business. They keep borrowing money to finance expansion to try and "grow the business" until the debt pyramid eventually collapses.

I've had mind-bending conversations with retail execs where I tried to tell them that all growth curves level out eventually. You would have thought I had just told them that the sun will rise in the West tomorrow. In Greek. Rejected on delivery.

Franklin Graham wrote about the decision yesterday and absolved Chick-Fil-A. For many that was all they needed to return to Chick-Fil-A. Graham hadn’t done his homework on the topic

I speak with a lot of Millenials in the course of my job.
It was from them that I first started hearing this line a little over a year ago that the Salvation Army was “anti-Gay”.

After JC Penney died they started opening the stores on Sunday, it went downhill from there all the way to the same sex controversial commercials. The company's days are numbered now.

Truett Cathy was a moral Christian giant, it may be hard for his son to live in his shadow especially now that they've taken their franchise's out of the South and into more hostile territory's with the pressure that's being applied in those conclaves. The Cathy's should take note of what happened to JC Penney's.....stand strong and remember to dance with the one that brung ya.

I don't doubt that at all and they are not going to listen to the baby boomers. They might, however, listen to someone from their own culture.

Apparently, the Chick-fil-A Foundation has ended donations to the Christian charities The Salvation Army, The Paul Anderson Youth Home and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Pressure from the LGBT community appears to be a factor.

That’s it? CfA must be punished and ostracized for this?

They’ve changed their charitable giving so CfA must die?

One of the very few businesses that honors the Sabbath on Sunday has failed to live up to the standards of believers, so now they’re heathen sellouts to the spawn of Satan and undeserving of our patronage?
