1. Patrick, Pittsylvania, Dinwiddie, and Appomattox Counties are now 2A Sanctuaries!

So far we have at least 7 brand new Sanctuary Counties in Virginia that we are aware of: Charlotte County, Campbell County, Carroll County, Appomattox County, Patrick County, Pittsylvania County, and Dinwiddie County. All so far have passed unanimously!

2. Huge turnouts at Board of Supervisors meetings!

I attended the Board of Supervisors meeting in Amherst County last night. The turnout by gun owners was HUGE! The good-sized meeting room was full, standing room only, the crowd spilled out into the hallway, stairs, entrance, went out the front door and wrapped around the parking lot!

I was afraid I made the two-hour trip for nothing, as I didn't think I could even get in the meeting room to speak. Many thanks to Speaker Vance Wilkins for his help on that. I did get to speak, emphasizing the importance of the resolution.

Apparently, it was a similar situation in Franklin County yesterday, too.

Both counties postponed the vote until they have their next Board of Supervisors meeting. In Amherst, the delay was to incorporate some of the wording from the VCDL model resolution. Franklin wanted more time to review the overall wording with their lawyers.

If the illegals can have sanctuary, so can US citizens.

Maybe it is time to create a new state: “Middle Virginia”, located between West Virginia and the new “East Virginia”.

No, what you would call “Middle Virginia” would remain “Virginia”.

The other one would be “Sodom on the Potomac”.

Let them try their strong arm anti-anti-Constituional tactics in a Virginia county that has a legitimate County Sheriff and see how far they get. That goes for all of them - Federal, State and local Marxists. We own the sheriff and this government and they work for us. If the sheriff needs our help he has nothing more to do than issue the call and deputize us into his posse.

Why would Virginia ever, ever, let the libs take over their state? Propaganda in their churches and in their schools...a very close proximity to Washington, D.C.?

more quietly, all but a few Colorado county Sheriffs have announced at various times their refusal to enforce the various unconstitutional, badly written, and unenforceable anti-gun laws passed by the Dems. since Colorado has no state police force (other than the highway patrol whose sole duties include highway safety and guarding the governor), that means those laws have been effectively mooted in the great bulk of our territory ...

If the Redcoats come marching out of their urban strongholds to seize our firearms, the war between the states will begin again. I pray that we will be able to avoid that disaster, but America's globalist enemies are cheering for that outcome.

I would love it if one of the pro-gun counties there decided to rename itself (or applied to the state legislature to do that - I don’t know how this is done in Virginia) as “Come and Take It County.” Even if they didn’t succeed in the name change, the mere attempt to do so would raise a LOT of eyebrows (and sell a lot of underwear in the anti-gun counties and the state government.

This is why the US law enforcement system of local policing and sheriffs is vital to our freedom. Other countries have national police forces that answer to the federal authorities and are not necessarily from the areas they police. Local law enforcement is the last bastion to protect us from federal overreach. New recruits are often asked what they would do if the president ordered them to arrest someone, and the correct answer is they would refuse.

Remember that Obama wanted a national police force that was equal in manpower and capability to the military.

60 Minutes had a story last Sunday about local Sheriff's who are opposed to these slippery slope Red Flag Laws.

Only saw a minute of it where Scott Pelly is lambasting a Sheriff for not following Red Flag Laws. Of course, Sanctuary City policies for Illegals is never mentioned.

I have it on DVR but every time I actually watch 60 Minutes my Television is in danger of being severely damaged.

“..a very close proximity to Washington, D.C.?”

As well as carpetbaggers from Maryland. We were successfully invaded by Maryland liberals working for FedGov.
The invasion of the wetbacks and low tax seekers from points north finished the job.

He will send the VA state police to do his dirty work and they will follow his orders. I am a law and order guy but have never had much respect for the VA state police. Every one I have ever met has been a first rate a-hole. I have never ticketed by them or even pulled over for that matter.

I have had interactions with the VSP just driving into VA at their random checkpoints across the state line, I call it Checkpoint Charlie. I go to get 100% gas for my tractor and small engine equipment, from a little general store across the state line. The VA state police officers have always been as friendly as rattlesnakes that had been pissed on. Why are you here? Where are you from? Essentially from one, get your gas and leave you have no business here.

I’m a middle age guy in a well taken care of truck and dressed civilized with four gas cans they can see in the back of the truck. Total horses asses. I thought to myself, boys if it wasn’t for getting gas and having to travel to VA to see my sister who lives there I wouldn’t set foot in your state or spend a red penny there you anal retentive jerks!
