The FBI last month requested an interview with the whistleblower whose complaint fueled the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump and Ukraine, a person familiar with the situation said Wednesday.
An agent from the FBI’s Washington field office reached out to the whistleblower’s lawyers last month to seek an interview about the substance of the complaint, according to this person, who insisted on anonymity to discuss the request with The Associated Press.
The person said it was clear from the FBI that the whistleblower was not regarded as the target of any investigation but rather a potential witness. It was not immediately clear what specifically the FBI might be looking into. The requested interview has not taken place.
The FBI did not immediately return a message seeking comment Wednesday.

I got the feeling that the whole “Schiff shutting down the talk” was related to Voldemort admitting to leaking but they could not identify who he leaked it to so they may not have clearance.
Schiff will let Voldemort swing for it and Voldemort could counter with “Schiff coached me”
Most likely the GOP-e would never let him do it.

Definitely. Vindman illegally leaked to Ciaramella. Ciaramella used deep state resources to “fill in the blanks” and transform the transcript into something illegal. They then took it to the IG, who approved it because of its apparent illegality.
This all collapsed when Trump released the real transcript and none of it synched. I’m thinking that Trump people were watching all of this process in the background waiting for this to happen. Ciaramella needs to be destroyed, and this might be the final chapter in his working in the CIA.
They say Ciarmarella (oops, sorry about the typo. It outocorrected "whistelblower" to that word) isn't himself a suspect but rather a potential witenss. So they're investigating someone else. Sounds like Ray's FBI is in Gestapo mode again, investigating Trump. Under Barr this time.

I have no confidence in the FBI and for all we know they may be going in the exact opposite direction of where a lot of people think they’re going.
Not go well for Vindman- who was trading in classified information for political and likely monetary gain.
