Ann Coulter: Adios, America!
On November 20, 2019, the Berkeley College Republicans will be hosting Ann Coulter, conservative syndicated columnist and author of twelve New York Times bestselling books.
Ms. Coulter will be speaking about the current United States immigration system and the dangers of mass immigration. This topic has become increasingly taboo in recent years, but it was a central campaign issue for President Donald Trump.
Coulter is the legal correspondent for Human Events and writes a popular syndicated column for Universal Press Syndicate. She is a frequent guest on many TV shows, including Good Morning Britain, HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher, The Today Show, and Good Morning America.
A Connecticut native, Coulter graduated with honors from Cornell University School of Arts & Sciences, and received her J.D. from University of Michigan Law School, where she was an editor of The Michigan Law Review.
Coulter clerked for the Honorable Pasco Bowman II of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and was an attorney in the Department of Justice Honors Program for outstanding law school graduates.
After practicing law in private practice in New York City, Coulter worked for the Senate Judiciary Committee, where she handled crime and immigration issues for Senator Spencer Abraham of Michigan. From there, she became a litigator with the Center For Individual Rights in Washington, DC, a public interest law firm dedicated to the defense of individual rights with particular emphasis on freedom of speech, civil rights, and the free exercise of religion.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I sewed some doilies on the hem so it would look like lace.

Here’s a synopsis I got from the campus earlier:
“Many of the liberal students here are actually in favor of letting her speak in order tosupport th principle of free speech and to make sure the school provide a fair platform to express ideas on both sides.
“Even many of these liberal studentsthink it’s a horrible and fascist tactic to shut down speech that dissents from thir own opinion.
“Those students want to be proud of being in the home of the free speech movement and want to uphold those standards.”
I got this from a sophomore or junior at the school.

Protesters show up in force to counter Ann Coulter speaking engagement at UC Berkeley
A protest at UC Berkeley is growing Wednesday night ahead of conservative commentator Ann Coulter's speaking engagement. KTVU's Andre Senior reports from campus where there is a heavy police presence and a very vocal group hoping to prevent Coulter from speaking.
BERKELEY, Calif. - A large protest at UC Berkeley's campus has grown to hundreds of people Wednesday night ahead of a speaking engagement by conservative commentator Ann Coulter.
Coulter, who has a hard stance on illegal immigration, is set to speak at Wheeler Hall Auditorium at 9 p.m. The event itself, organized by the Berkeley College Republicans, is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. However, protesters began gathering with signs and started chanting things like, "Hey, hey! Hey ho! Ann Coulter has got to go!", as early as 6:45 p.m.
