Amid reports that fast food chain Chick-fil-A was halting donations to Christian groups, the restaurant's foundation is maintaining they are philanthropically restructuring, not caving to political correctness in pursuit of higher profits.
Reports emerged Monday that after months of consistently negative press coverage related to their long-held views about marriage and human sexuality and donations to like-minded organizations, that the famous chicken sandwich shop was discontinuing their financial contributions to groups characterized as "anti-LGBT."
The Christian Post reached out to Chick-fil-A Monday, asking them to respond to the criticisms that they were compromising their principles in order to appease their ideological opponents.

That’s your opinion that they caved. How many faith based organizations are still on that list? Is that list static (it will never change going forward?) or will it change over time?
I’m sure CFA will find some random “faith based organization” black church in Atlanta to donate to. But that is in no way equivalent to cutting funding to high profile targets of the left like SA and FCA. Don’t excuse that. This is a war and only one side is fighting it.
I’ve got a crazy idea. How about a business just focusing on their business and not donating to any causes at all?
Nonsense....they caved. One need only read their issued statement along with interviews from their marketing dept. to see it. If you can’t you’re either willfully blind or agree with their stand (and are just being an apologist).

Same. Came to same conclusion myself. Although, they do have nice restrooms. The reality is fast food places love to sell “chicken” because its much cheaper for them to buy than beef.

They apparently had some contract with these organizations that ended, not because they cancelled them, but that they were for so many years, and that time is up, and they are changing who they donate too.
The amount of money for the Salvation Army... all the nonsense the ALPHABET SOUP OF PILLOW BITERS scream about it, you would think the Salvation Army was getting Millions from Chick-Fil-A... but apparently it was 115k last year.... I am sure they would rather have it than lose it, but hardly is that a sum of money that is going to massively harm the organization.
Watch what they DO, not what their PR hacks say.

I have to admit that I wasn’t very impressed with them either, and I also only went due to the hype.
What they’re also going to find out is that as people quickly learn that chicken is NOT as healthy for people as beef (particularly fatty beef), that they’re going to start squeezed from that direction also.
They just stuck themselves in a vice - it will be fun to see what happens.
Okay folks, need to calm down. CFA had contracts to donate with these orgs, and the contracts were up.. the media of course, wanting to hurt CFA because they are pro sodmite, lavender mafia lackies, reported this as CFA is moving away from groups who don’t support gay marriage...

CFA owner literally put his business on the line to stick with his Christian beliefs, its comical to think they just decided to say okay, fine... we won’t do that....

Hatchet job indeed. So many read the title and didn't bother to read what's actually on Christian Post. I've quoted the exact statement twice where CFA said no such thing as to what they were quoted as saying by some unknown "news outlet" named BisNow.
And yet, people here on FR take that "BisNow" source as gospel.
It's a lie, wrapped in a lie and repeated by a news outlet as being true. We see this kind of behavior daily from the American "news media" don't we?
And yet people fall for it. Amazing.

I wasn’t refering to this particular article as a hatchet job, I was refering to the original reporting that CFA was no longer donating to folks over gay marriage as the hatchet job.. this article shows what the original articles and their push portraying it as such are hatchet jobs by the lavender mafia and their minions.
Liberals and Leftists have said they will NOT eat at CFL even though CFL has stopped donating to SA.

“BisNow” took it directly from a CFA press release...see my #55. CFA cut ties with SA and FCA as of 2019 (no donations) and no plans for donations to them in 2020.

FACT - Chic-fil-a will no longer donate to the Salvation Army as part of “restructuring their charities”
FACT - CFA responded to the biznow article (which you claim is propaganda) and said they’re still giving to Christian charities but didn’t disavow that they were avoiding charities that are “anti-LGBT”
FACT - GLAAD applauds CFA for taking the first step to separate themselves from anti-LGBT charities (which CFA does not deny)
FACT - LGBT sees the Salvation Army as anti-LGBT
But of course... you just wanted “proof” right? No - you’re a leftist troll.
