As Chick-fil-A expands globally and into more liberal parts of the U.S., the chicken chain plans to change which charities it donates to after years of bad press and protests from the LGBT community.
Beginning next year, Chick-fil-A will move away from its current philanthropic structure, Bisnow has learned. After donating to more than 300 charitable organizations this year, the Atlanta-based fast-food chain will instead focus on three initiatives with one accompanying charity each: education, homelessness and hunger.

I always thought CFA would be the last man standing but I was wrong.
It won’t be enough. Nothing will ever be enough once they latch onto you.
What crazy world do we live in when these venerable charities are now verboten.
Yeah, let’s concentrate on the ‘negative’ aspects of their decision instead of looking at all the good they will do by concentrating on those three broad areas where charitable contributions are so desperately needed.

If Chick Fil A management thinks this will appease the “LGBT” and assorted liberal activists, they are mistaken.
This will NOT appease them. They will still boycott Chick Fil A for their “history” of alleged oppression. You can’t win by attempting to appease these radicals.
I have personally spoken with Millenials who contend that The Salvation Army holds anti-LGBT views because they adhere to Biblical teachings on sexuality.
So quite literally any Christian-based charity will be off the table now.

The liberal view is that groups such as Salvation Army discriminate against “LGBT” youth; don’t make proper provision for “transgender youth” and other such complaints.

I recall back in the early 90s that Jesse Jackson and Rainbow coalition started duking it out with Nike. Pure extortion...but finally Nike caved in.

It never is with the left - CFA will have to specifically donate to homosexual advocacy groups.
And that won't even be enough - they will also have to denounce the Bible as a tool of white/male privilege.
And that won't even be enough - the CFA Board of Directors will have to all commit to have a homosexual relationship....
Their food is good but the company is less significant by taking this stand. Just another fast food place now.
