Some of America, it seems, has caught on to the inconsequential nature of profoundly hyped hearings which will definitely end or damage the Trump presidency.
According to Reuters, when fired FBI Director James Comey testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee in July 2017, 19.5 million Americans tuned in. During the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation last year, roughly 20 million Americans watched the contentious hearings unfold.
Neither of those had the same kind of 24-karat headline as impeachment proceedings -- and yet, television viewers couldn't care less. Reuters reported that 13.8 million people tuned in Wednesday for the opening salvo in the Democrats' public hearings on removing Donald Trump from office.
'm no collective clairvoyant, but my guess is that most people know there's no chance Trump will be removed from office, there's going to be nothing in the testimony that we haven't heard before and the rules are rigged so that there will be a predetermined outcome.
If you're a political junkie and decided to miss it, however, you should probably be kicking yourself -- at least if you're a conservative.

I watched most of the hearing Friday as I had to be at the desk anyway. Even though I am a political junkie I found it incredibly boring. The average American couldn’t care less.
So do we get to read the part about Ms. Stefanik reading schitt’s words back to him without clicking the link to WND?
I don't see how they can "just drop it". They'd be handing the election to Trump if they admit defeat.
Think of the campaign meme: One man against the DNC, the vast majority of the media, operatives from the CIA, FBI, FISA, DOJ, the State Department, and various foreign agencies, with an assist from the sitting POTUS, and they came up empty.
The most thoroughly investigated and vetted man in the history of the world, and he's CLEAN.
Who could run against that, and win?
No, they'll have to keep the circus going until the election, in some fashion or another. More allegations will surface, more whistles will blow, more dirt will be invented. They're stuck with it. I think Pelosi saw this coming, hence her apprehension...
At some point early in our life, most everyone, excluding democrats, develop a sense of when they’re being lied to. The first giveaway is generally the Schiffty eyes. This guy is live caricature of a lying, back stabbing, little homosexual.

I was expecting a pic, of Schiffhead, while hearing his own words read back to him.

Knew it was a clown show and of course it didn’t disappoint. The Rats put up three witnesses who are witnesses to absolutely nothing.
If you watched, it’s almost like you’re a victim. Should be a class action suit.
It’s that awful and that bad.
You can get the great moments like Stefanik tearing Shifty’s butt and that is just a big bucket of sunshine right there.
They will look like complete buffoons if they drop the case now. I can’t see how they can stop this runaway train. They will demoralize their base, and to the middle of the road Americans they will look like dirty cops spending 4 years trying to frame the POTUS. Totally useless investigating instead of legislating.
And this, before we get any information from Horowitz, or Durham, or even Giuliani.
I figure the odds are high they will impeach if only because they have passed the point of no return. They did it for political reasons imo. They saw that they gained the House thanks to the Mueller BS and now they wanted these headlines for the 2020 elections. But they are going nowhere fast regardless of what the media puts in the headlines and chirons.
It is up to the Senate to dismiss the charges quickly and then open investigations of their own into all these shady dealings and shady characters.
A good poker player looks for yells at the table. In Schiff’s case, his liars’s tell is his eyes go big eyed. They haven’t closed since Trump was elected.
Understand that I’m just making an observation but Schifftzhead is making actor Peter Sellars’ character Inspector Clouseu look like Sherlock Holmes compared to himself. The only possible way Schifftzhead could get dumber is get bigger. I swear if he ever tries to bang the gavel and the head of it flies off and knocks his witness out I will uniranate in my underwear. Martin the Martian has more credibility.
Schiff’s look says he’s angry.
Angry because the hearing is on national TV and he can’t just gavel-down Ms Stefanik without the subsequent commentary on TV and radio and on print, about how cowardly he was acting. He had to tolerate the truth from an insolent woman who was making him look bad.
Adam Schitt looked like he was playing the lead role in a hostage tape.
They will drag it out. Just this evening I heard Pelosi on the news go on about how Trump’s crimes are so much worse than Nixon’s, blah blah blah (followed by a brief paraphrasing of the republican response).
They’re pounding Trump/crime into everybody’s heads.
They will eventually impeach, after which they will get unfettered access to the news broadcasts during the trial. The senate will not convict, but the president is being damaged P.R. wise.
Watch his eyes.

Hollywood makeup couldn’t portray a coldhearted ARSEWIPE to match Schiff.
Peter Lorre comes close BUT Schiff has a more ‘scary’ look.

The body language lady on FNC said he’s furious, maintain calm face but signs of tension from holding back.
Worst case, I hope at least two people get what they deserve out of this: McCabe and Schffhead.
