The contest is also an increasingly close one. Incumbent Gov. John Bel Edwards faces a serious challenge from Republican businessman Eddie Rispone, whos attempted to tie himself tightly with Trump during the campaign. In the week ahead of the election, polling had the two candidates nearly tied, and Cook Political Report has classified the race as a toss-up.

St Helena went for Edwards.
Yeah, got a point there.
It is predicted to be a close race, from what I heard.
I don’t see any cable TV carrying this race.

Suppposedly the guy to follow on LA.
Orleans Parish is the only parish not reporting votes yet. The Cheating fix is being set into place for Edwards. But....while I think tons of African-Americans turned out to vote....all of them did vote for John Bel Edwards...it appears from the vote count available at this time....Stay tuned!!!
From that Twitter Link...
JBE got 59% of the early vote in Jefferson Parish. In 2015, he got 56% of the early vote there, to carry it by 2% overall.
While the percent of the precincts is small, about half the votes have been counted. Total vote count should be somewhere around 1 million
Or “Vote for the lizard not the wizard” when that klan guy got the GOP nomination.
Trump is the factor tonight.
Edwards would normally win.
business insider reporting 53.6% Rispone, 12.9% reporting; hope that holds
BTTT
Same old story. It will look like Rispone is doing well, probably even leading late, but dem counties are holding counts & will manufacture enough votes to defeat Rispone

Same thing happens in the live results of every single election. The GOP candidate steadily drops in percentage of votes as the results come in and the Dem candidate steadily increases in percentage of votes.
Every. Single. Time.
Why?
I would say vote fraud.
I think we are going to lose. Looking at the parishes and margin of victory in those parishes / votes totals left.
Great. 50%-50%. Unbelievable.
Orleans Parish and West Baton Rouge came in... Edwards ahead.
Nail biter...Rispone lead down to 3.2 points.
