Roger Stone has a big mouth, but this was a railroad job big time.

The Obama Judge wouldn’t allow Roger to defend himself and stacked the jury with Obama people.

An innocent man spending a few months in prison vs a filthy Rat who will set out to finish the work started by a certain Kenyan. Both bad choices...but one being far, far, far,*far* worse than the other.

I'd do a few months in prison after having been unfairly convicted if doing so would prevent such a catastrophe.

How about you?

I see AG Barr sure has plenty of time for all of these extracurricular speaking engagements and we don’t have one measly indictment yet, Mr. President

The judge knows that it will be thrown out on appeal, but that will take years. The real goal is to smear Trump by association.

I hate political wonkery

Stone is an old dude, he isn’t in his 30’s where he can just wait it out

Same with Manafort or Flynn

These men, even though I may or may not agree with what they have done, have done no crimes other then being friends or work with President Trump. Roger Stone’s trial was a Russian Show Trial and the verdict was already determined before it even begun.

I say, pardon him 10 minutes after sentencing

So that means he deserves to die in prison?

As long as Schiff, Nadler, Pelosi and 'The Squawd' are running The House, "Lying to Congress", "Contempt of Congress" Should not be crimes, but mandatory for all people who love America.

After Trump is re-elected, all of these folks (except idiot Michael Cohen) will be pardoned. No need to do it prior to the election, it will just cause an endless news cycle and the low information voter will see it negatively. Even in the highly unlikely event of a Trump loss, he can pardon them afterward.

Roger Stone's trial was no different than SchifftForBrain's controlled impeachment inquiry.

It's one-sided because to let the other side question witnesses, put up a defense and present controverting evidence is so....well....so American. We can't have that.

The judge, prosecutor, and jury members were all pro-Obamabots who had it in for Stone before the trial even started.

If he can afford it, he needs to appeal and ask for a change of venue. Everybody in DC is anti-Trump but for a handful of people.

If he can't appeal, then Trump needs to pardon him and Manafort and Flynn. None of these people would have been in trouble (well, maybe Manafort would have) if the fabricated Russian collusion investigation had not taken place.

Trump's tweet tells it all. What about all the democRATS lying SOB's who are still walking around free without even being indicted or charged with their crimes? Some of those may be eventually taken care of with the Durham criminal investigations, but otherwise, Trump needs to stick up for those who helped him get elected and stood by him afterwards. I'm sure he has a contingency plan for this very scenario.

Stone may be quirky and weird but he is not a criminal that deserves years in prison for being a Trump associate.

“I see AG Barr sure has plenty of time for all of these extracurricular speaking engagements and we don’t have one measly indictment yet, Mr. President”

If nothing is out next week, then Barr has to be Deep State. He’s been stringing us along.

Is anyone else having trouble?
This is a White House petition.
Maybe we can report it, if there is a problem.

I may be totally wrong...,

Nope, you are totally right.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/jacobfrenkel/2017/07/21/president-trump-can-preemptively-pardon-his-advisors-and-family-but-will-he/#6de1e72a6c3b

In an opinion issued in 1886, the Supreme Court clarified that the pardon power conferred by the Constitution is “unlimited, with the exception [of cases of impeachment],” and it “extends to every offence known to the law.” The Supreme Court wrote that the President may exercise the pardon power after the commission of the criminal offense, before or during legal proceedings, and after conviction and judgment. In fact, so long as the President grants a pardon before conviction, then doing so prevents any of the “penalties and disabilities consequent on conviction from attaching” to the pardoned person.

Presidents can only issue pardons for federal crimes, not state crimes.

If they're going to try some contempt of congress charge, they'd better have one of those number pulls as are found at deli depts, with about 280 million tickets in it.
