Web traffic continued its dramatic spiral for Matt Drudge’s news aggregate site in October and at this point, the negative numbers are beginning to resemble one of the models employed to predict corporate disasters.
One of the things you learn as a Ceritifed Fraud Examiner is forensic accounting and modeling and Drudge’s recent and quick mud slide of web traffic is starting to look like the Enron model. And that obviously is not good.
It is a good thing Drudge is not working in corporate America or running a publicly-traded entity. He would be in deep trouble.
Drudge’s overall web traffic is down nearly 18 percent in September and October, according to the tracking metrics on Similar Web. That’s a massive and accelrated slide from approximately 93 million visits to 77 million.
***Oh, and Adrian Otto is the technical director of Google Cloud. Adrian says to Buzzfeed News that he is NOT involved with Granite Cubed (the new ad agency for Drudge) now run by his wife Margaret Otto.

I think Matt is still literally the owner, but Marge sells advertising for it. Matt left his other agency after 20 years. Who knows why? Probably something to do with
“The Benjamin$.”
Oh wow, I had no idea. I was hoping he’d come out of it. Somebody must have something on him. He’s a homo, somebody probably sent him a boy that was days from his 18th birthday, got pictures of the encounter, and told him, “You either take the NYT view of things from now on or these pics go to the cops.”
My guess is that somebody is blackmailing him. Pics of him with somebody underage, snorting coke at party, or who knows what.

I’ve been done with Drudge for over a year. When Fox hired, Donna Brazil, I corked that bottle too. One America News (OANN), Epoch Times, The Still Report, Dan Bongino, Dr.Steve Turley, Huckabee, Canada Free Press, are the only sane and accurate news sources,
Drudge was ridiculous. Trump was in office for one day, and Drudge was already yelling “where are the tax cuts!” He is totally unrealistic, and expected Trump to fulfill every promise in two weeks. I don’t understand why he and BFF Adams Apple Ann can’t see that Trump is fighting for his political life against the worst cabal of traitors in the history of the Republic. They can go back to supporting Open Borders Mitt. Eff them both.
21 years going to Drudge virtually every day. Went cold turkey last week. Had enough of his anti-Trump hate.

Yeah, it was always fun to start scrolling down the page only to have it bump back up to the top and have to quickly scroll down again before it started to refresh once more. It’s fun having 15-30 seconds of that crap, and that assuming the page didn’t freeze up, which it often would with that constant refreshing.

i have resisted the urge to click on to his site even once over the past two months.
Was kinda like quitting smoking but i am over the hump now and plan to NEVER visit again.
From what I could gather, the ownership may still be with Drudge, but the agency that handled the advertising is what has changed. For his own reasons, Matt left Intermarkets: an agency that had done his ads for the past 20 years, and he is now with a new agency called Granite Cubed.
That new agency; Granite Cubed, is run by Margaret Otto. Perhaps Otto has chosen to attract a different group of advertisers than what Matt had previously been using. I probably used the wrong term when I said actual ownership had changed hands, but it seems apparent that Ms Otto has a great deal of influence on the current marketing approach of the Drudge Report.
Stopped even peeking at his page for at least a couple of months now. Not giving him the satisfaction of a hit. He’s out of control with TDS. Not the Drudge I used to ‘know’. Screw him.
Met Drudge in person at the big confab we all had back in DC a decade or so ago in DC. Happily shook his hand and proclaimed, “Glad to meet a fellow FReeper!” He VERY pointedly corrected me explaining he was “No FReeper.” At the time I was a little confused.
What does selling advertising (which they’ve done before this TDS) have to do with the Trump hating articles he posts? Who is responsible for posting articles/links?
