Web traffic continued its dramatic spiral for Matt Drudge’s news aggregate site in October and at this point, the negative numbers are beginning to resemble one of the models employed to predict corporate disasters.
One of the things you learn as a Ceritifed Fraud Examiner is forensic accounting and modeling and Drudge’s recent and quick mud slide of web traffic is starting to look like the Enron model. And that obviously is not good.
It is a good thing Drudge is not working in corporate America or running a publicly-traded entity. He would be in deep trouble.
Drudge’s overall web traffic is down nearly 18 percent in September and October, according to the tracking metrics on Similar Web. That’s a massive and accelrated slide from approximately 93 million visits to 77 million.
Amen! Ann Coulter and Matt Drudge were the aspiring epitome of conservatism. Now—His site is a complete bummer and she appears to be a mean girl, after all.
Dan Bongino announced on his program that he is starting the Bongino Report, a conservative news aggregater website.
Drudge was excellent for a long time. Thanks for the good times, Matt.

Sludge has gotten much, much worse just over the last 3-4 months. It was a precipitous decline.

Drudge has flipped to tabloid clickbait for tranny tantrums, UFO sightings, and America-is-dead propaganda. The rest are paywalled links to the WaPo and NY Slimes. I guess he figured he made his hundred million, screw the truth now.

I've given up on Drudge but I assumed he was still there, running his site as usual. I thought he just went off the deep end, hating Trump for some reason.
I notice Rush Limbaugh still has Drudge's site open every day when he does his radio show. :-(

People still go to Drudge? I used to go there all the time in the last century. Haven’t spent much time there since 2002 or 2003. It wasn’t because of anything political. The layout isn’t good and I stopped caring what this or that newspaper or columnist had to say. It was exciting twenty years ago to look and see what papers across the country or around the world were saying. It isn’t any more. If it’s important, I’ll eventually hear about it. Same thing for columnists.
Entirely correct, homosexuals are deviants. Their loyalty is to the greedy need in their loins. Like a 15 year old boy, they think about sex every 8 seconds. I got into a heated discussion with a homosexual male, and he flat out told me that being gay was not about who you have sex with. How do you reason with that?

Late this summer, Drudge left his prior advertising company;
Intermarkets, for a newer company called Granite Cubed.
Granite Cubed is owned by Margaret Otto.
She and her husband Adrian Otto, have a past business association with Matt and his father Bob. Bob Drudge founded a reference website called Refdesk, and sold it to the Ottos in 2017. I don’t know much else about the Ottos, or their plans for Drudge and Refdesk.
So it looks that Matt retains majority ownership of Drudge, but Margaret Otto now sells advertising for it, not Intermarkets, as they had been doing for the past 20 years.
I tried Whatfinger a year or two ago but the ADS!! I even got a re-direct to a virus page. I even tried siccing my UBlock Origin on it but it didn’t work. Might try again ..
