In head-to-head matchups, former Vice President Joe Biden ran strongest against Trump, leading the president 51% to 43%, fueled by solid support from women and independents. Other matchups against South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg and U.S. Sens. Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are much tighter.
The findings provide an early snapshot of the developing race in Georgia one year out from the election and strengthens claims that the state will be a 2020 battleground.
***
For Democrats, the most encouraging finding might be the shift of independents, a largely white bloc of voters that has traditionally leaned Republican. A majority of independents support the impeachment inquiry, and about 60% disapprove of Trumps job performance.

Trump Surges with Women in Suburbs, Tops All Democrat Candidates in Large Donations

Hi LS
Trump lost this demographic group in 2016? I believe the GOP also did poorly with them in 2018?
Is that correct or am I mis-remembering?

The only fight will be in getting the dim loser to admit defeat, STFU and go home.

In 2016, Hillary's main argument was that she had experience, Trump did not. That was a common theme in many of the newspaper endorsements that came out for Hillary. Now, Trump has more experience than any elligible person, apart from Jimmy Carter. I am guessing that whole experience thing will no longer be so important this time around.

We don’t need to win them.
We just need to not lose them badly.

Your comment is not appreciated. I thought better of you Johnnie.
I am entitled to my comment, but to call someone a druggie is out of line if they disagree with your opinion.

Seriously people?
Polls this far out from an election are worse than meaningless. They are pure propaganda.
Ignore opinion polls.

Some of you can correct me if I’m wrong, but Georgia and Alabama have pretty much seemed to me to have like minded people. Just a few days ago Alabama gave Trump a warm welcome to a football game.

When’s the last time a Democrat has carried Georgia? It’s like expecting a Republican to win California, which last happened with Bush Sr.
