NFL clubs were informed Tuesday that a private workout will be held for free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick on Saturday in Atlanta, according to a copy of a memo obtained by ESPN.
The session will include on-field work and an interview. All teams are invited to attend, and video of both the workout and the interview will be made available to them.
Several clubs have inquired about Kaepernick's current football readiness. He has been out of the NFL since 2016, when he began protesting police brutality and racial injustice by kneeling during the pregame national anthem.
In the memo, the league said: "Earlier this year, we discussed some possible steps with his representatives and they recently emphasized his level of preparation and that he is ready to work out for clubs and be interviewed by them. We have therefore arranged this opportunity for him to work out, and for all clubs to have the opportunity to evaluate his current readiness and level of interest in resuming his NFL career."

The NFL is such utter garbage I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets hired somewhere as a back up and ends up winning the swishy super bowl. For the narrative. The half time show can be black chicks in dog costumes dragging their butts along an US flag to the latest hip hop dog squeeze. It will be hailed as the greatest super bowl ever.
Freegards
Kaepernick has several obstacles to deal with if he wants to play in the NFL:
1. He hasnt played since 2016.
2. Hes 32 years old.
3. Hes not a good QB.
4. Hes been employed for the last three years as a professional malcontent.
5. Nobody believes he even wants to play in the NFL anymore.
The man is now geriatric in NFL terms. Every year a dozen new rising super QB’s hit the league.
3a. He can’t read defenses which is a big reason
he was benched in the first place.
His last season out of 11 starts, he only won 1. This story sounds strange. Have they ever done this for a previous player? I believe the answer is no.
I have a close relative working for the NFL who says it was much, much less than that. Of course, my view is that anything was too much. I haven't paid a bit of attention to football since this Krap started, so I don't care either way.
I read the suit brought. Him only i million and he had to pay at.torneys out of that
I hope youre correct. That a-hole deserves nothing.
My sincerest condolences should you go this far!!
I believe it was about one-tenth of that amount which is still a ridiculous amount of money.
This is what I had read initially, but newer reports state below 10.(as you stated)
At this point I’m actually hoping that some team does sign and play him. He’ll get his arse stomped and prove once and for all that he can’t play. Frankly at this point that’s the only way that he or any of this is ever going to go away.
He’s a terrible quarterback, do they just want him to kneel on the sidelines as a back up? Bad decision for any team
“As we all know, police are the most dangerous thing to a Black man. It certainly isnt another Black man...”
Oh, it’s opposite day.
“Will he be wearing his cop pig socks for the workout?”
I actually hope that he is that stupid.
