I’ve seen a lot of folks say he’s a good man.
Sorry, good men don’t do interviews with Playboy, and even if they have a brain hemorrhage and do, they don’t spout off in public about lusting for women in their heart with a wife at home.
They don’t chum it up with dictators who are responsible for many deaths and the oppression of their people.
The don’t resolve a nuclear confrontation by making an agreement that allows a nation to go full speed ahead developing the nuclear weapons to threaten 100s of millions of humans, including our citizens.
They don’t make agreements that severely harm US interests, and in Iran and Panama.
Carter opposed the Shah and ushered in an Islamic Caliphate there. The Iranian people were seriously harmed by that.
Then when the lease was nearing the end in Panama, Carter didn’t lift his little finger to negotiate and extension, thus ushering in China as the operations manager of the Canal Zone.
Reagan freed up people, and Carter did his best to see them beaten down.

Bingo. Carter was a lousy President, and that is an understatement. He loosened up our immigration laws to let a bunch of third world country immigrants into ours, especially Haitians. He changed the immigration quotas away from European countries so that people primarily of our country’s own immigration heritage mostly ceased, and thus started the influx of immigrants from poor peasant underdeveloped third rate countries into ours.
Hence the beginning of the major change in our country’s demographics, to our detriment as a cohesive cultural identity as Americans. Now we are entirely Balkanized, and we all know the horrific political consequences of it. Thanks, Peanut Man. Thanks for nothing.
