I don’t think that women experience ‘lust’ - or interpret it - in the same way that men do. Natural women will speak of ‘love’ or ‘affection’ or ‘attraction’.
What Carter said in that interview refers to what men feel and think - he was “speaking” to a male audience.
Everyone has the natural instinct to appreciate God’s handiwork, when they see it in Nature. It doesn’t mean that they want to BE with that person, or even would, given the chance - but seeing someone attractive can certainly inspire appreciation and desire - and I think that is all that Carter was intimating.

It’s not my business to judge Carter, but then there is quite a bit on the record concerning him.

I’ve not been perfect by a long shot, but I’m not asking folks to overlook my sins to call me a really good man. At times I’ve been good and at times I’ve been abysmal. I expect folks to judge me accurately for my shortcomings. If it’s on the record, be honest.
As for his actions as President, here is a guy that took a nation that allowed Western values for it’s people, and helped toss that to an Islamic Caliphate.
The women’s lives were forever changed from an open society, to one of stoning and the “kill the raped woman” culture.
I guess Carter truly thought he was doing God’s work, when he ushered in Sharia law to dominate Iran for the next 40 years.
I’m not saying I damn him to hell, but God won’t look favorably on some things he’s done. Asking forgiveness is allowed, and God has promised to forgive us our sins.
It’s just that the man continues to bubble up onto the surface, and demonstrate he has never obtained a Christian nature as far as decent policy goes.
I have to do some evaluation as a Citizen. I have to call Carter out for what he advocates. I don’t wish evil things to be heaped on him. I just can’t buy into the idea he’s a great guy.
That would give him an opening to be thought of as a sound thinker, the next time he chooses to stink up the place.
No, he is what he is when it comes to public policy.

This isn’t limited to simply thinking someone is pretty.
It’s about thinking about taking their clothes off, laying down on a bed with them, and going through steps to consummate the act.
This isn’t the natural thought of all men. Some men, it is. Men who love their wives don’t allow themselves to think of being in bed with someone else.
When I’m married, it doesn’t appeal to me to be with someone in bed other than my wife. It’s unsettling. It would hurt my wife, could end our marriage, would disrupt the children’s lives, the extended family’s lives, and our financial standing for decades to come.
Real men, do not entertain such thoughts. The people who do think these thoughts will tell you all men do, and women love to think all men do. It gives them a feeling of superiority.

The Carter peanut subsidy program resulted in massive amounts of peanut butter left in govt. warehouses (Reagan found these) The media focused on another surplus— Carters subsidies of dairy farmer’s milk had the Ag dept solution of making it into cheese storing tons of it in govt. warehouses with a limited shelf life. Which Reagan was left to deal with— and blamed for!— Govt. cheese- spoiled govt. cheese, No one ever heard about the tons of peanut butter as a result. The peanut subsidy directly benefited Carter.
There’s more, but why bore people with the truth. Georgia natives know this clown liberal petty little man. So now we can focus on obamaumao- America’s indonesian muslim president.
