Report this wide and far.
The Constitution doesn’t prohibit religious people using public space. It only limits the government.
Good thing he dint p!ss off any Episcopalians.
To a libtard, separation of church and state is a one way street.
I'm surprised that the media didn't report this. Not.
How very Xi of little mike. At least we have social media. We can spread this tory on twitter and FB. Oh, crap, no we can't anymore. Ham radio?
This is dated in 2012
How much you wanna make a bet THERE ARE NO MOSQUES INCLUDED!!!!
Yes, but it shows what kind of a man Bloomberg is.
separation of church and state, oh yea its in the Constitution....... lll find it for you......... hold on looking........ still looking........ maybe its in the original copy....... looking up on Google...... Siri where is separation of church and state in the Constitution.......... Siri?
The Separation of Church and State most certainly is found in the constitution. The constitution of the old Soviet Union that is.
It’s not surprising to hear Bloomberg repeating the lie that separating religion from government has anything to do with the founding principals of our country.
Why didn’t you just post the rest instead of making it clickbait? It would have at least read slightly more coherently.

EmailFacebookTwitterBufferShareIn a move with no precedent in New York City history Mayor Michael Bloomberg will shut down after today the worship services of scores of what he calls “these religious groups.” At least 57 churches and synagogues are affected.
On his weekly radio program Bloomberg was adamant.
“Separation of church and state is one of the basics of our country...The more religious you are, I think the more you should want to keep the separation because someday the religion that the state picks as the ‘state religion’ might not be yours. The way to solve that is to not have a state religion,” said the mayor.
Bloomberg also said he dismissed religious freedom concerns by legislators in Albany. “I don’t know what’s going to happen in Albany. I can just tell you what’s happening here. This is the last Sunday that these religious organizations will be able to have worship services in the schools. We’re not trying to take away their ability to use public property for other kinds of activities. But where they have services, and a cynic would say, ‘How would you define what a service is,’ but that not withstanding, the courts have ruled...that there are real constitutional concerns here. I have real concerns,” he said.

Should tank his campaign entirely. What was the response?
The current Progtard DildoCrat party is the natural result of closing all the mental institutions.
At least those who should be institutionalized self-identify, herd together in largely unlivable places, and frequently practice self-medication. It makes it a little bit easier for the Normals when we are forced to deal with them.
Is he running for president of the US or of China??
Bloomberg is an admirer of China and their ways. He recently stated this on an episode of “Firing Line” on PBS.
Same with 0bama, he admired their infrastructure you know, the bridges and stuff that keep falling down.
Apparently, it didn't work, since DiBlasio (who opposed Bloomberg at the time) was still trying to shut the services down after Bloomberg left office.
The mayor was wrong then, and his point of view on this remains wrong.
If the “state” (or county, or city, or town) leases space, or alows space it owns, for the use of legallly organized groups of residents, it cannot discriminate between religious groups (that would be an act similar to defining a “state religion”, nor can it discriminate against religious groups (that would be undermining religious freedom).
The state cannot say that space it allows for use by legally organized residents is banned from use by religuous groups. That would be discriminating against religion altogther, which is not what freedom of religion nor separation of church and state are about.
Bloomberg shut down Christian services. The article’s title glosses over this, but 100% of the “religious groups” were Christian. Why does Bloomberg hate Christianity so much?
