A conservative student senator at Colorado State University, who is black, was kicked out of a student government meeting for wearing blackface as part of his Halloween costume mocking Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Colorado State University (CSU) student senator Koby Peters was removed from a student government meeting which took place on the day before Halloween, because he wore a costume depicting Justin Trudeau in blackface, according to a report by the Collegian.
The motion to remove the student senator passed overwhelmingly with a vote of 29-1-2. Peters, who is black, said that he arrived at the meeting wearing the blackface Justin Trudeau costume in order to start a conversation.
I was truly hoping, I guess you could say, to open up a dialogue, said Peters of his costume.

Points dude... Black man in black face. This is in the realm of the statement "Islam is right about women"
Splodey Lib Heads
Does not compute.
Can’t have students mocking a leftist Sacred Cow, otherwise they might get the idea that free speech still exists
So, he obviously HAD to be thrown out

You will know who rules you by who you are not allowed to criticize.
Pretty clever costume. Getting kicked out for it really is over the top. You just can’t make this stuff up.
I don’t get why it’s funny, did the real weak Trudeau dress up in blackface?
He did. Multiple times. He even claimed it was “Brown Face” several times. This is very funny.
Isnt America great? They throw one black face out of a meeting and re-elect another black face in Virginia.
a black man doing a black face white guy gets booted, I’ve heard it all
There’s a genuine photo circulating the internet of Justin Trudeau in dark makeup/blackface, turban, and other middle-eastern/ethnic clothing with a couple of co-eds at a party. It didn’t surface until a few months ago.
It damaged him in his re-election bid, but ultimately (as ever with Leftists, like the case of Virginia’s governor) did no lasting harm. Another case of “embarassing (and potentially career-killing) cultural misappropriation” if I wear a funny ethnic costume to a party. “Good, clean, harmless fun” when a Leftist does the exact same thing.
I think earlier fears of this photo getting out drove his side hobby of visiting foreign countries and getting up in their ethnic garb as a shallow way to “understand” them better. He looks like he’s in some rig or costume—which he is. Real folks, even immigrants—even actors!—have clothing that looks “lived in”, natural, and with some wear-and-tear. Not the colorful, pristine duds Trudeau always wore.

Way back when, I sort of remember wearing a wig and rolled up socks to simulate a bosom.
Fortunately it was back in the dark ages when there were no iPhones, and there are no pictures.
Can’t figure out if I was doing wrong or if I was just exploring (and rejecting) my transgender side. Somehow I think exploring transgenderism in the olden days might make me a hero.

Why isn’t wearing blackface exploring transracism?
Now that’s funny right there, I don’t care who you are,
Funny and racist and they are more so for not allowing it.
Trump has his eye on this young man.
I’m sure I’m supposed to be offended but I cant stop laughing.
Lol
It was in news recently. His apology was weak, and then he admitted it was more than once, but he couldn’t recall how many times. Trudeau-Castro Jr. is a mess.
The influence of African culture on European culture in America, and the converse, from the colonial period and into the 21st century, is fascinating.
Despite the Europeans' resistance, the influences of African culture were inexorable, verifying their value.
It's an ancient story of the inevitability of cross-culture influence. (This is the fundamental theme of Tales of the Alhambra by Washington Irving.)
It transformed European music, which is obvious, but it also transformed European culture in many other ways.
It was a two-way reaction: European culture also transformed African culture in America.
