She’s just jealous that she couldn’t figure out a way to turn her affair into a multi-million dollar payday too. It must be because she’s a muslim woman of color, the white guy even gets paid more for having an affair!

Right, I wouldn't take that job for $19.9M. Nope, no way.

LOL!

There’s so much fascinating hypocrisy in the ‘liberal’ world today...

Walmart is a $514 billion a year company with over 2 million employees.
The CEO’s salary is .004% of the company annual revenue.
What should the CEO of a company that size make, in your opinion?

They Biggie-Sized his to-go order, for sure.

As I understand it, the stock doubled under his tenure. He should get some credit.

I have zero issue with what he’s being paid.

A contract is a contract.

If a CEO is told up front; you receive 10,000 shares every year for being CEO.

If he starts and the stock price is $10 that’s $100,000 in stock.

If he finishes and the stock price is $100 $1,000,000.

The person mopping the floors and stocking the shelves did not make that stock worth $100 a share.

"Look, I am not saying there should be a law against it but $20M is RIDICULOUS."

Right. I always try to buy shares of companies that hire those bargain CEOs.

I have no problem with his severance, and I’m sure he’ll find another lucrative position.

But some people can be brilliant at one complex thing yet lax and stupid about something as simple as hiding an affair - or choosing their affairs wisely in the first place.

We’re all human :-)

It was consensual. He resigned. I don’t think we should have affairs with people in our employ except prostitutes. When Bill Clinton did it it was a private matter between consenting adults. Never mind that the President really is the ultimate boss. But if you are not billy jeff aw shucks Clinton you don’t get to use the consent defense.
