If they don’t go with Sessions or some other great candidate, and the Repubics nominate another weak loser to go up against the Democrats, like they have been recently, then they will be keeping up with their nickname.
Polls already have Sessions at the top of the pack
Good post.
As long as it’s not the loser(Moore).
Doug Jones won because the establishment GOP campaigned for him rather than the Republican candidate last time.
That WAS stupid.
How many idiots here would run out and vote for Romney again.
More of Trust Sessions nonsense.
Borders on mental illness.
Let me guess, when Sessions takes a seat next to Romney, All will be revealed.
No, Jones won because Moore is a fruitcake.
Not “A Shocker”.
But then AllahPundit is a #NeverTrumper, so I don’t expect much honesty out of him.
It just could be that Sessions just ain’t the sharpest knife in the drawer. But if he gets elected and sticks with Trump, I’m good with it.
People just want to keep electing Bush League Republicans no matter how much they betray us.
McCain, Rubio, Hoeven and Murkowsky were all re-elected after their amnesty vote.
Flimsey Grahamnesty has voted for amnesty THREE times and he’ll likely be re-elected to try again to give away our country.
We will never Make America Great Again by re-electing the same people who messed it up.
He might wait until the general
Yup.
An R and a marginal improvement over Doug Jones.
I know Trump would prefer somebody else but he’s
not going to cut his nose off to spite his face.
The establishment GOP did support the Democrat over the Republican nominee.
They have done it repeatedly.
The national party should STAY OUT of primaries and they should support the nominee unless there is a major reason not to. The fact that the nominee is not your fair haired boy is not a major reason.
Why dont you share with us why that is?
We ALL loved Sessions until he became AG we ALL have to admit he was a VERY CONSERVATIVE senator!!! He was in way over his head as AG like a deer in headlights!!! I dont think he realized the den of wolves he was walking into!!!
Mark my words, hell be campaigning for Sessions once he wins the primary.
Mark my words, he won’t be campaigning for Sessions once he wins the primary. He’ll stay as far away as he can from Alabama and Sessions because 1) that is fodder for Fake News and 2) It’s Alabama and 2) Trump will get 60%+ of the vote in the state.
The way he answered it was a little cold. Not a “shocker”, per se, but illuminating.
