Mark my words, he’ll be campaigning for Sessions once he wins the primary.

Mark my words, he won’t be campaigning for Sessions once he wins the primary. He’ll stay as far away as he can from Alabama and Sessions because 1) that is fodder for Fake News and 2) It’s Alabama and 2) Trump will get 60%+ of the vote in the state.

Pissant is right - Trump will campaign for Jeff Sessions, because....

1) His public comments criticizing Sessions were just that - public comments - designed to served a political purpose - they are directed toward everyone, friends and enemies alike - they can’t be assumed to represent his feelings about anything. Maybe if he was caught on tape saying something privately to Melania - then you could assume it was the way he really felt. Or perhaps in 10 years when he writes his memoirs, then we’ll know how he feels about Jeff Sessions.

2) Even if he hates Sessions’ guts and truly blames him for everything (which I strongly doubt), President Trump is not a man to hold grudges. If an alliance will further his agenda, he lets bygones be bygones - he’s proven this time and time again.

3) Your “fodder for the Fake News” argument doesn’t make much sense - since when does President Trump hold back because of what the Fake News might say? More likely, he’ll deftly manipulate the Fake News to his advantage.

If the President’s past remarks seem to be hurting Jeff Sessions’ chances of regaining his senate seat, I’m sure he’ll mend fences immediately - and the best way of doing that would be to campaign for him.
