And he’ll be Trump’s most reliable ally in the Senate.

Maybe he just sucked in the DOJ. He was the first person to endorse Trump and stands by his agenda.

If the Republicans in Alabama nominate Sessions, they will live up to their nickname the Stupid Party.

Sessions was a great Senator .

I’m a long time Auburn fan.

He would never ever take the blame for a loss, but was very quick to dump on his players publicly for a loss. Bear Bryant was the best I ever saw at handling that issue correctly. He ALWAYS took the blame. But he would say something like, “If we don’t play a lot better next week, Vanderbilt is going to kick our tails good.” THAT is the way a coach should behave.

He was primarily a defensive coach and he had two long-time assistants coaching offense and O-line. He was taking a lot of heat for lousy offense, so he hires a offensive-minded coach that was very successful putting up offense at Troy State . . . last name was Franklin. Franklin was made offensive coordinator. The first couple of games they were doing much better offensively and the players were buying in to what Franklin was doing. All of a sudden the other two guys balked and said either Franklin goes or they do. Tuberville fires Franklin in season. Franklin was producing. The players liked him. Tuberville put his wrong-headed a$$ hole friends over the well being of his players. It was the polar opposite of what he should have done and it sped up the process of running him off.

Didn’t like him blaming players. But when he fired Franklin, I lost every ounce of respect I had for the man. I think those two examples testify strongly to the lousy POS he really is, and an indication of how well he will fit in with the rest of the degenerate crooks in the Swamp.

No thanks. Tuberville is a bum!!!

Let me guess, when Sessions takes a seat next to Romney, All will be revealed.

Yep. Those two are throwing in with the democrats no matter what. They see the handwriting on the wall. Vote Fraud. Open Borders and just more outright refusing to accept election results when they lose.

People here seem to be forgetting that the U.S. Senate is the perfect place for a feckless Republican jackass. It’s tailor-made for Sessions.

Why would Sessions think he is going to go back to the senate and accomplish something memorable- he’s just some old doofus grandpa little DS puppet- he should retire to Florida

Why would democrats vote for the most conservative man in the Senate over the last couple decades?

Apparently, Auburn lost to Vanderbilt and that is a no no. The other coaches and offensive line said he had to go.
He had a mutiny on his hands and the offense was lagging. I personally am not a fan either way.

The two top primary finishers will have a runoff election. I don’t trust Sessions or Moore, but there is a Congressman also running.

Why would the most conservative man in the Senate take the advise of partisan Democrats at DOJ and recuse himself? That effectively breathed life to Mueller Coup and its police state tactics.

Some things in life just don’t make sense. Sessions’ spectacular blind spot on the coup and subsequent fall from icon status is one of them.

Trump is too wise to let grudges guide his actions...like most small minded people would. If Sessions were to win, Trump would never let a grudge keep him from welcoming Sessions help.

Trump seems to be a wise man in the mold of me old granddad’s (1855-1942)saying, “A wise man will change his mind, but a fool never will.”

What’s interesting is the guy getting the high profile endorsements is at 2% while Tuberville is at 23% and Sessions 36%. It will be an interesting race if Tuberville can stay close to Sleepy.

Pissant is right - Trump will campaign for Jeff Sessions, because....

1) His public comments criticizing Sessions were just that - public comments - designed to served a political purpose - they are directed toward everyone, friends and enemies alike - they can’t be assumed to represent his feelings about anything. Maybe if he was caught on tape saying something privately to Melania - then you could assume it was the way he really felt. Or perhaps in 10 years when he writes his memoirs, then we’ll know how he feels about Jeff Sessions.

2) Even if he hates Sessions’ guts and truly blames him for everything (which I strongly doubt), President Trump is not a man to hold grudges. If an alliance will further his agenda, he lets bygones be bygones - he’s proven this time and time again.

3) Your “fodder for the Fake News” argument doesn’t make much sense - since when does President Trump hold back because of what the Fake News might say? More likely, he’ll deftly manipulate the Fake News to his advantage.

If the President’s past remarks seem to be hurting Jeff Sessions’ chances of regaining his senate seat, I’m sure he’ll mend fences immediately - and the best way of doing that would be to campaign for him.
