U.S.A. -(Ammoland.com)- The youthful Second Amendment supporter who made national headlines has reached a plea deal with the Green County Prosecutor. Dmitriy N. Andreychenko conducted his advocacy in a Missouri Walmart on 8 August, 2019, less than a week after a mass murder in an El Paso, Texas Walmart on 3 August, 2019.
Andreychenko wore body armor, had an unloaded, slung AR-15 type rifle, and a loaded, holstered pistol. He took a shopping cart into the Walmart while videoing himself on his phone. Police arrested Dmitriy on a charge of a terrorist threat in the first degree. The prosecutor initially charged him with a terrorist threat in the second degree. I predicted the prosecutor would not charge him with a first degree threat. The conduct did not match the charge.
The video demonstrates Dmitriy was calm and cooperative with the police.
The surveillance video of Dmitriy inside the store does not seem to have been released to the public.
On August 14, I predicted the prosecutor was aiming for a plea bargain to a charge of terrorist threat in the third degree, Causing a false belief or fear.
Dmitriy consistently told the story that he was testing his Second Amendment rights, and he expected Walmart management to talk to him, not pull a fire alarm. The Third degree terrorist threat is probably the prosecutor's target.
The prosecutor and defense have agreed on a plea bargain to a somewhat reduced charge from the third degree terrorist threat, which is a class A misdemeanor. Dmitriy has agreed to a plea of knowingly causing a false report to be made, which is a class B misdemeanor. From greencountymo.gov:

No loss of Constitutional rights. No mention of forfeiting guns or body armor.
Prosecutor says open carry is a right and commonly practiced in the community, in the press release.
He might as well have donned a Klan outfit and walked into the ‘hood.
An idiot supposedly acting to defend 2nd amd. rights, and doing so in an idiotic manner right after a Walmart shooting.
Guys like this turn more people away from 2nd amd. rights and at a crucial time when every vote counts.
When you’re that dense jail time is in order.
While stupid it was not illegal to do what he did. Very ill advised for sure. Next time leave the body armor behind.
that would have gotten him killed...
“In the press release, the Green County prosecutor notes that open carry is a right in Missouri; that it is accepted and protected by the community.”
Apparently not.
He should have been forced to get IDIOT tattooed on his forehead. He was within his rights but what an IDIOT.
Contradictory.
If prosecutor says the guy didn’t break any laws, then why did he need to plea bargain? Why was he convicted on a misdemeanor? He now has a criminal record for waving a gun around.
You can bet the gun grabbers are hoping the guy gets caught doing something else, so they can say, see? His guns shoulda been seized the 1st time.
It was a dumb stunt.
Walmart’s STORE policy —no open carry (concealed only)— is not a violation of 2A, it’s a response to the El Paso incident and an attempt to prevent future liability.
Money and time not enough each
He could simply explain that he has a Constitutional right to dress any way he pleases.
He was being provocative. One thing we, as responsible gun owners and carry advocates cannot be is provocative. The gun was one thing, wearing the body armor was done to provoke a reaction.
Honestly, I think people should be able to open carry and wear body armor, but...in the wake of the recent shooting, it was clear to me he was being provocative.
There may be times in the near future when we will be forced into civil disobedience, but this was not the time IMO.
They request people not to open carry. They do not demand it.
Simply a sop to the disarm all citizens crowd.
The prosecutor bowed to media pressure.
Then he had to figure a way out of it.
Yup. If you're going to assert your rights, you have to be prepared to fund your way through the 'process' to enforce it. You can beat the rap, (if you have the money to do so), but can't beat the ride.
Yep - made a bone-head move designed to ensure a panic reaction...I have open-carried in local Walmarts and have had a few ask if I was part of law enforcement but never had anyone panic...if I had worn body armor and had a rifle slung over my shoulder it probably would have gone the way his escapade went.
Based on dress? Then antifa should be charged at each event?
or just say kanye’s latest...
it’s dope y’all
