While speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) reacted to calls to reveal the whistleblowers identity by stating that whistleblowers, especially those speaking about government action, should be allowed to remain confidential.
Romney said, My own view is that whistleblowers, particularly those that are blowing whistles on action within the government, should be allowed to remain confidential.

I wonder what he thinks about Espionage and Spies engaging in a Seditious Conspiracy to Overthrow the United States Government??
“Is Mitt speaking for Mitt, or for Pierre”?
Winner!
Remaining confidential is contrary to our Constitution.
The Confrontation Clause of the Sixth Amendment to the United States Constitution provides that “in all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to be confronted with the witnesses against him.”
Hey Mitt, please go down to Mexico and join up with the break away Morman group down there.
Romney is in this up to his neck.
Evidently Mitt can not read and needs someone to read and explain the CONSTITUTION to him.
Pierre Delecto speaks!!!
It does not and never has protected the whistleblower's identity.

Not stupid -- opportunistic.
He's a regular Maverick John McCain. You know, backstabber.
It will be interesting to see if he gets re-elected. That will tell us a lot about his constituents.
Not sure exactly how it works in impeachments - but wouldn’t the right for Trump to confront his accuser embodied in the 6th Amendment come into play here? Or would that need to wait for the Senate phase.
Was Harry Reid a whistleblower when he claimed Romney didnt pay taxes?
So many on FR leaped to Romneys defense, calling dingy Harry a liar. But how do you know he was lying? Because Romney was the GOP nominee? That means we must defend him without knowing the facts?
Romney (DB-UT)
If Shannon O’Brien didn’t say Would you like to see my tattoo?,” Romney could very well have been a losing footnote in politics.
Mitt Romney.
The phrase whi h comes to mind is F’N IDIOT!!
Thanks, Utah, for voting in this POS.
Not a whistleblower. He lost that status when he colluded with Schiff.

You can’t accuse someone and then say....but you can’t talk to me about it.
