November 5, 2019 --- The Day Democracy died in York County, PA
Thank you, Jill Stein.
Your unfounded allegations of election insecurity led to an unfunded mandate by the Pennsylvania Department of State requiring many counties to replace--yet again--their voting machines with systems deemed more secure.
Thank you, Governor Tommie (the Commie") Wolf.
Your capitulation without compensation led some Counties to choose the path of least resistance and greatest inconvenience by selecting paper ballot scanners which were inefficient at best and inoperable at worst.
Thank you,York County Commissioners (only one of which might return to office).
You got your Dutch up (rightly) about another unfunded mandate but decided (wrongly) to punish the entire electorate by placing only one ballot scanner machine in each polling place, irrespective of the population served.
Thank you, local Election officials.
You chose to place the ballot marking tables, albeit separated by privacy shields resembling a college library study carrel in plain view of those standing in line to take a place at the table and in plain view of those waiting to scan their marked ballots at the one and only scanner.
Thanks, yall.
Some of you--Stein and Wolf in particular--know d@mn well that in 2016 many more people voted for our beloved Donaldus Magnus than would admit, publicly, privately, or to pollsters that they supported him. But in the secrecy of the voting booth and the relative privacy of the touch screen machines they voted their conscience and preserved this nation.
And you know d@mn well that this open look at your neighbors paper atmosphere will prevent any such repeat in 2020.
Democracy died today in York County, Pennsylvania.
May its death be ONLY here.
I fear for our nation.
May God bless America, now, and always, and unto the Ages of Ages.
Paper ballots that get scanned leave a paper trail and help the cause of fighting voter fraud.
On the MS Gulf coast, my area has the paper ballots and gives you a manila folder to hold it in while waiting to scan.
The manila folder doesn't offer any secrecy when the line waiting for a place at the table snakes all around the table and gets tangled up with the line waiting for the scanner.
Why even pretend to have a secret ballot? /s
Its all in their plan and it continues across the nation. The rat machine consolidates their power by any means necessary
Thanks for adding the “/s”...
I guess some care about a secret ballot but I really don’t care if others know how I vote.
Did you get any “answers” that make a whit of sense? I suspect not.
With the ole punch system cheating was still done but it had to be polling place by polling place and required many operatives to make the required difference. With electronic machines a couple of hackers can accomplish what it took many ops before. And it can all be done in the factory or before the vote are even cast. Note that since electronic voting started many machines around the country have been switching votes from Republican to Democrat. That “glitch” never works the other way, of course.
