so disappointed.
Umm...Trump isn’t the problem in Kentucky.
JFC. Beshear had a 17 point lead 2 weeks ago. Upset would have been Trump dragging Bevin to the win.
Even being ‘not popular’, I still don’t believe it. Most people know the Breshears are corrupted politicians.
Can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear.
a “stunning” upset?
Looks like 0.5% from what I saw. Pretty close.
A headline the MSM will flog for several days, then still almost a full year until the 2020 election. Will mean nothing where Trump is concerned.
Doesn’t matter. The media will say he is.
Whattya mean? 0.5% is a monster landslide of historic proportions, and means Trump has no choice but to resign immediately.
Other GOP candidates down ballot won by huge %. Bevin must have been hated like no one else in KY history. But, with 6000 votes, Jefferson Co (Lou) could have that many dead voters - easy.
As former KY resident and political activist, I am inclined to say the race got fixed. Beshear is a typical rat and crooked as the rest of them.
Cool the Dems can come in and shut down those dirty polluting Kentucky coal mines.
Why did Bevin lose? Did he have scandals?
Knowing Bevin came up nearly 17 points in the last two weeks thanks to President Trump, takes a little sting out of knowing Breshear may be the Governor.
At least with so many Republicans voted in today, including the Attorney General, maybe we can fight his attempts to damage us.
We will have to fight Breshear with all the vigor, chaos, and hurricane of lawsuits like Breshear did to Governor Bevin.
The story I’ve been reading tonight is that Bevin had a 30% approval rating in Kentucky. He seems like an awesome guy, but he is probably far more effective as a real leader than he is as a political candidate.
maybe this will embolden the Nutty Dems to actually vote on articles of impeachment and get everything out in the public
Let me be clear: this was not a stunning upset. The Republican incumbent is a total prick. He alienated teachers, he alienated black voters, he alienated conservatives in Northern Kentucky by advocating By advocating for a toll on a bridge that crosses the Ohio River. He was a bad fit for the state of Kentucky. He wore custom made suit and gold cufflinks in a rural, southern state. The Republicans absolutely swept the down ballot races. They swept the state wide races. Only the dopey governor couldnt win this election.
