Currently, the GOP is looking in relatively good shape, financially, for next year’s presidential election. But that doesn’t change the fact that in races around the country, Democrats almost always have more money than Republicans. A case in point is Virginia, whose legislative elections are tomorrow. A reader writes that “Democrats have $11.3 million in recent donations, compared to only $4.4 million for Virginia Republicans.” That sort of disproportion is hard, if not impossible, to overcome.

No surprise here. VA has been a blue state for almost a decade. Mass immigration and a large influx of domestic migration from the Northeast turned VA from red to blue. I watched it happen over the 36 years I lived in Fairfax County, i.e., 1979 to 2015.
Virginia hasn’t been bought, it’s been taken over by career DC swamp-rats moving there.
Too many government jobs in Virginia. Move the jobs into rest of the country.

Yes, and Yes. And you can add Detroit/Flint vs. the rest of Michigan, and Las Vegas/Cook county vs. the rest of Nevada to the list.
I'm sure it true for any state with one or two large cities.
There was a time when, back during my first marriage, I was actually happy my wife wanted to live in VA and not MD, so we moved to Falls Church. It smelled like freedom to get away from The Freak State. Now, like a cancer that metasticized, it’s spead to adjacent organs. My buddy in NoVA put his house of 30 years up for sale and is buying a farm in WV.
The party of the Confederacy still holds sway in part of the Confederacy.

Disgusting and sickening. Are there no Republican billionaires? Are there no Republican billionaires who have made a killing off the defense industry or the oil industry or medical industry, etc?
Why is it only the left-wing has billionaires who recycle who are constantly funding the socialist takeover of America? Where are all the right wing billionaires and WTF are they doing with their money? Are they going to take it with them?
It seems like rich left wingers start or fund media giants and propaganda mills. Where are the conservative media giants and propaganda mills funded by rich right wingers? Put your money where your mouths are, you slackers.
It absolutely kills me to see Virginia go full boat commie liberal, and I’ve never even lived there.
Seattle is currently dragging down the entire state of Washington. It is sad to see.

The insane, communist and egomaniacal just bought themselves a state. Now the real war will begin for Nov. 2020 and America’s future.
