Trump restores Navy SEAL Gallagher to rank of chief again

President Donald J. Trump has decided to restore convicted SEAL Edward Gallagher’s pay grade to chief petty officer, overriding a decision last week by the Navy’s top admiral, Fox News reports
“This president recognizes the injustice of it,” Pete Hegseth said during Fox and Friends after speaking with the president. “You train someone to go fight and kill the enemy. Then they go kill the enemy the way someone doesn’t like, and then we put them in jail or we throw the book at them.”.

The logic of the secular, post-Christian ruling culture is to create a nation of bland, conformist, pragmatic materialists. The military have been quietly downgrading the traditional military ethos of personal honor, courage and love of country ever since Robert McNamara, who never liked military people and in spite of being an O-6 in the USAFR, had no clue as to what made uniformed people tick. The sort of lawyer driven rules for everything, which makes lawyers the center of power in n organization is the logical progression of this mentality. I greatly respect our POTUS, but I know these twerps are all around in the services. It really makes it difficult for me to honestly recommend the armed services to any decent young man.
