The real question is why is the House Intelligence Committee (I’m giving them a break assuming there is some intelligence in it) running it and not the Judiciary Committee?

I saw a theory on this last week: Schiff-heads committee is the only one authorized to have closed door hearings under the auspices of 'National Security'.
If it were to be assigned to the Judiciary, that opportunity would be lost.
