PALM BEACH, Fla. — President Donald Trump filed the paperwork to change his official residence from New York City to Palm Beach.
Trump filed in September with the Palm Beach County Circuit Court changing his primary residence from Trump Tower to Mar-a-Lago, his resort in Palm Beach.

Good move. I don’t think we have ever had a President from Florida, have we? Further, his vote there will do him some good.
May many, many additional taxpayers follow him out of New York.... and New Jersey, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, California....etc, etc.!

NY made Rush’s life a living hell for about a decade after he moved out. I wonder if they’ve changed their wicked ways since then. Probably not.
I’m not sure how he establishes residency there since he is pretty much a full time DC resident.
That is, unfortunately, a very expensive decision. NY, NJ, and CA all have an exit tax. But perhaps it was a “cut my losses now” decision instead of hanging in there to only to have the state increase the % of taxes they are sucking out of everyone.
Avoiding a partisan hostile legal environment
Screw New York taxes and has become a garbage dump of communist Democrat fools running the city and the State..
