I’m not sure how he establishes residency there since he is pretty much a full time DC resident.
Many military people use Florida as their state of residence. I know my parents did. We were stationed there some but never owned any property. My grandparents did too. They were never in Florida until after the war when they retired. They never had any property until then. As CIC perhaps the same thing would apply for Mr. Trump, since he already has property there.
It’s easy if you have a house already in Florida.
Also, it’s easy if you live on a sailboat like us. We got a mail service that gives you an address, registered the boat in Florida and changed our residency. They get to count us for the census, we don’t have to pay state taxes any more.
Haven’t been in Florida for 6 months, but we are heading for the keys starting tomorrow.
Don’t congresscritters reside— and vote —in their districts?
Or maybe they get to choose between home or DC.
Wouldn’t it be funny if some of them were caught registering & voting twice?
Has anyone ever checked up on this?
