If you stay out of the highly urbanized areas of Mexifornia you can basically avoid the liberal funk. This societal decay is nation wide problem so the best you can do is stand and fight where you are. This crap is coming to your town.

The real danger is that so goes California, so goes the nation.

As California has descended into madness, the rest of the nation is also descending into madness.

Gun control.

"Red Flag" laws.

Hyper-environmental paganism.

"Sanctuary" policies that openly defy Federal law.

Floods of illegal third-world hoards.

You can find these things now in many, many states - even ones people label as "conservative."

We can’t even plan a vacation in CA any more. My wife won’t got to Mexico for the all criminals and she won’t go to CA for the terrible roads, the horrific homeless problem, the outrageous gas prices and now the regular power outages. Who wants to go on vacation in a place where they regularly cut the power?!?

PG&E has no money left for maintenance. All of it is going to lawyers, fines, settlements and lawsuits. This is what happens when a business is regulated to death.

As expected, a very perceptive article from V D Hanson. Three points really grabbed my attention here;

Gas prices of $4 to $5 a gallon — the result of high taxes, hyper-regulation and green mandates — add insult to the injury of stalled commuters. Gas tax increases ostensibly intended to fund freeway expansion and repair continue to be diverted to the state’s failing high-speed rail project.
The voters approved a doubling of the gasoline tax & significant increase in annual registration fees in 2017, effective 07/01/19. New Governor Newsom has just shifted some of these promised road repair funds to a government plan to discourage car use in the future.

Residents shrug that the state’s public schools are among weakest in the nation, often ranking in the bottom quadrant in standardized test scores. Elites publicly oppose charter schools but often put their own kids in private academies.
Classic elite action; "Do as I say, ignore what I actually do!"

About one-third of the nation’s welfare recipients live in California.
Classic marketing maxim ignored by the LEFT; make free stuff attractive and you will get more people coming in to get it!

Democrats are incompetent when it comes to governing. In an engineering, law or medicine trade they would be hung out to dry for malpractice. As it is they somehow seem to get re-elected. Because the one thing they have perfected is something that would never enter our minds-election fraud.

Most probably, the American people, as a group being brighter and more capable than most Democrat legislators, politicians and judges, are being abused by voter fraud. The American people are NOT electing these Democrats in the numbers across the country in local, state and federal contests that finally prevail after the ballots are counted.Americans are more competent than that.

MOST Democrat election wins most probably involve “voter irregularity”. There just is NO reasonable statistical way by which virtually EVERY SINGLE closely contested US House race was won by a Democrat in 2018.

And we lay back and take it. Generation after generation.
Until we have a California third world mess in our back yard. Until the only way to prevail may well be the 2A route.

It’s astonishing that this is happening in America. It sounds more like Venezuela. And people are not rioting in the state capital.

If this were happening in Atlas Shrugged, the electric company would just walk away entirely, after shutting the power off everywhere, and the only lights would be from the fires. (”Brother, you asked for it!”)

Austin, TX is fast becoming the second SF with the mayor allowing them to camp out wherever they wish.
