"a quantity large enough to wipe out the state's entire population "many times over,"" And of course if you want to take measures to stop this stuff from coming into the country, you're a racist. Enough of this crosses the Mexican border every year to wipe out our entire country.

We see this hype about how many people an amount of this crap can kill.
Would that be if everyone overdosed?
Sure, the stuff kills people, but these crazy statements sound like "crying wolf".
Exactly how would it have to be used to kill that many people?

My first thought was: lemme guess...Dayton. Lol. I was right.

I cannot get my head around this. Almost every day we see drug busts with some variation of “enough fentanyl to kill everyone”. Seriously? How many times? Where is all of this going? Who is using it (and not killing themselves in the process)? Or are people hording it and we are getting swamped in stockpiles of it that will eventually kill everyone?

I wonder how many started taking this poison trying to get relief from pain? Now that they cannot get any relief legally from their doctors.
Ironically, there is such a push for medically assisted suicide. But not real pain relief.
All their choices shouldn’t require death.

Almost every day we see drug busts with some variation of enough fentanyl to kill everyone. Seriously?Enough to kill everyone in the state - if taken all at once.
But barely enough to satisfy, say, 10 million addicts for a year.

I used the patches for a while and probably overused because I never felt anything.
After a month I stopped using it.

Good point!
Took 160 mgs of roxys at one point and felt nothing. Came off of it like it was nothing.
But I did have to come of benzos once and that was BRUTAL!

Yeah, but they're just friends of George W. Bush doing the jobs Americans refuse to do. And they do it out of love! /Jeb!

In a sane world this stuff would be classified as a chemical weapon. Contact with dust from it on any mucous membrane will send you to an emergency room as you suffer shutdown of the CNS. A typical persons fatal dose is 3 milligrams. As to how to spread it, use your imagination. I really don't want to suggest a method. This single drug kills 28,000 people a year in the US due to OD.

I think it was a clever plot by Obama’s dems.
.cut off legal access for pain relief while relaxing border controls to allow absolutely pure heroin at low prices and now fentanyl so that pain sufferers go to the street dealers to get relief and the traffickers pay kickbacks to the politicians. The masses get gas lighted and brow beaten into thinking that the drug companies have hooked the people on opiates when in fact the drug traffickers have worked with shady politicians so that the traffickers have increased their “market share” to include cronic pain sufferers who now can’t get any relief legally.
