Pelosi Calls House Vote to Affirm Speaker Impeachment Inquiry The House Never Authorized…
The Conservative Tree House ^ | 10/28/2019 | sundance

Very nice trick here by the Lawfare advisory and rules committee that is handling the construct of the “Official House Inquiry” on impeachment. It is such a good trick it has everyone crossed-up and confused. Likely, that is by design.

On Thursday of this week Speaker Pelosi is bringing to the floor a resolution to affirm her previous declaration of an “Official House Inquiry”. Mrs. Pelosi is very purposefully and carefully telling reporters this is not a “House resolution on impeachment”.

Read the wording carefully.

Speaker Pelosi is holding a vote, a resolution, to affirm her previous declaration of a House “inquiry”. The resolution is currently being written by Lawfare. Pelosi is not delivering a House “Resolution on Impeachment” for a vote, because if she did hold a vote on an impeachment resolution, the minority and the Executive branch would gain rights therein.

This is a House vote to show support for Pelosi’s previous unilateral decree. Right now the rules committee is adding language to the resolution that will provide additional one-sided support for a completely partisan process.

Pelosi is careful to say “this is not an impeachment resolution”.

It is not an “impeachment resolution”, it is a resolution to support the already existing “impeachment inquiry”.

Pelosi and the Lawfare crew are playing games.

The stupid public already believes anyone in the house can unilaterally start impeachment proceedings on anyone.

Has there ever been a more sleazy House congressional majority?

Most of them belong in Gitmo for the next 10-20 for being American domestic enemies.

That would be the lightest sentence they deserve. In the not so distant past they would be hung for treason. They are the exact opposite of everything this country was founded on.

”The stupid public already believes anyone in the house can unilaterally start impeachment proceedings on anyone.”

That is correct, any member can introduce a resolution which, without any voting, can be referred by the Speaker to a committee for investigation, eventual committee vote, and referral to the floor.

Apart from the naked political aspect of this business, there’s nothing illegal or even shady about it.

“You can fool some of the people some of the time, and most of the people most of the time. But you can’t fool all the people all the time.”

And if you fool yourself, you are the only one you can fool. This is going to end spectacularly, with an absolute blood-bath for the Dems.

Close your eyes and picture it: Trump wins 55% of the popular vote, carries New York, California, every state but Vermont and half of Maine.

If that was the case Al “Not That Green” (D-Houston) would’ve already had impeachment under way.

If they are excluding repubs from the process it is not a house inquiry. It’s a democrat political meeting and should be funded by the DNC not taxpayers.

Right — but it’s not a question of legality. It’s a question of whether a “subpoena” from these dopes will ever hold up to objective scrutiny by an outside party.

There are all kinds of ways a presidential administration can play games with this nonsense. The State Department gave the first clue about this when the my responded to their “subpoena” a few weeks ago.

I seriously wish to see the DEMS go down in the biggest most devastating loss in history next year. So devastating that they can not even see a small dust mote of light at the end of the far off tunnel. If the RNC does not take this opportunity to run a candidate up against every Dem next year, they are total idiots. Which I do think that they are.

Republican committee members are present, but technically the committee is taking depositions. That means no one present can divulge the testimony. If a gop member came out and told what the witness said, it would be against the law. This is why we don’t hear anything but anonymous (Schiff) illegal leaks, carefully selected to through shade on Trump.

He’ll never win the People’s Republic of MA. I believe it was the only state in the continental 48 where every county voted for Hillary.

Queen Pelosi and Shifty king Schiff are attempting via resolution to legitimize a body of Kangaroo Court evidence, which actually is an attempt to draft a Bill of Attainder against President Trump under color of impeachment.

Bills of Attainder are specifically prohibited by Article 1, clause 3 of the Constitution whether defacto or dejure.

Queen Pelosi and Shifty King Schiff are about to experience the political equivalent of the enactment of the French Revolution.
