The United States Postal Service has unveiled several new Forever stamps that will be issued in 2020. Among the stamp-sized works of art is a portrait of late PBS journalist Gwen Ifill.
Ifill's stamp will be a part of USPS' Black Heritage series. The esteemed journalist died in 2016 following a battle with cancer. She was 61. Throughout her career, Ifill moderated vice-presidential debates and worked for 17 years as a moderator on PBS "NewsHour." She was also managing editor of "Washington Week."

Affirmation Action Tokenism pays off
She made a career out of it
Strictly speaking, none of the folks you mention has died yet. But when they do . . . well, don’t hold your breath.
And when they do..............still no respect.
“Esteemed journalist”. Is that like an “austere religious scholar”?
esteemed? Says who, confidential sources?
I didnt know she was dead.
The woman is not deserving of a postage stamp.
Whos next? Cokey Roberts?
“Journalist Gwen Ifill to be memorialized with USPS Forever stamp”
give us a f’n break, what the hell did she ever do?
Van Jones Is salivating.
While flipping through Channels, I ended up watching (for a few moments) a POV(?) Episode on PBS last night.
It had something to do with Women (I think some were Lesbians) helping Prostitutes (I think) get off the Street. It ended up bashing POTUS Trump.
Is there anything POTUS Trump can’t be blamed for?
Nice use of our Taxpayer Money.
No wonder the post office is loosing money.
I only use American flag stamps, never any other.
I hope the get stuck with them.
If they do; they could give them to the PO employees for a bonus gift!
Y’know that hideous new National Muesum of Black History (or whatever it’s called) in Washington D.C.? Someone pointed out that their exhibit on blacks in the legal profession, including several prominent judges, omitted all mention of Justice Clarence Thomas! The administrators’ excuses for doing so were predictably lame. Amazing.
Liberal minorities only have to be mediocre at their job to be memorialized.
OMG!!! IDIOCY!
There will also be four Forever stamps that celebrate different facets of hip-hop: “MCing (rapping), b-boying (breakdancing), DJing and graffiti art,” according to USPS.
How about Ruth? Wife of Boaz then?
