The “lock him up” chants at game five of the World Series in Washington, D.C. on Sunday was too much for even chronic Donald Trump critics Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski.
On Monday’s “Morning Joe” on MSNBC, Scarborough and Brzezinski chided those that chanted “lock him up” during the announcement Trump was in attendance at the game. However, Scarborough said Trump was the origin of those chants.

I'm not smart enough to know for sure if what happened will help...or hurt...him in 375 days.It's even possible that it won't have ant effect at all. But squishy "independents" seeing that just might think "wow,everyone hates him,maybe I should hate him too".

I was at the game too, section 309 and the idiots in our section and to our left were showing their collective asses with their silly little “Lock him up!” chant last night.
I couldn’t have been more embarrassed for my country.

If so, that’s new. That’s pretty much the opposite of what I observed and what most surveys have shown: officers are generally significantly more likely to be conservatives and Republicans than enlisted men.
