The “lock him up” chants at game five of the World Series in Washington, D.C. on Sunday was too much for even chronic Donald Trump critics Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski.
On Monday’s “Morning Joe” on MSNBC, Scarborough and Brzezinski chided those that chanted “lock him up” during the announcement Trump was in attendance at the game. However, Scarborough said Trump was the origin of those chants.

I heard there are severe safety violations at the Stadium, maybe the Feds should condemn the stadium until everything is brought up to standards.
I was at the game I heard no such chants, and the boos were 50-50

Turnabout is fair play. Hard to get worked up. But here’s a key difference: it’s one thing for a crowd at a Trump rally to demonstrate their partisanship. It is an entirely different ball of wax for the majority of fans at a Major League Baseball game to do so. For the tens of millions of fans watching, it was a helpful reminder that so much of Washington is in the tank for the Deep State. This can’t help them.
