Former Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.), the longest-serving African American member of Congress, died Sunday at age 90, according to multiple reports.

Conyers, a veteran of the Korean War and participant in the Civil Rights movement, was co-founder of the Congressional Black Caucus and chaired the House Oversight Committee from 1989 to 1995. He also introduced the bill establishing a national holiday commemorating Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday.

Conyers resigned from his Detroit-area seat in 2017 after serving for over 50 years amid multiple allegations of sexual harassment from young female staffers. His grandnephew Ian Conyers lost the 2018 Democratic primary to now-Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.).

Just watched the "Enemies within" on Netflix and the guy was naming all the communist in Congress and Conyers had a great spot.

so bad reading his paper, I said, "when is that guy going to die?" and here it is.

He was another race-baiting, anti-American, pro-reparations pain in the domestic ass whose wife got caught in a scandal via his influence and got thrown in the hoosegow for it. He and Milk Dud were two black-eyed peas in a pod. He finally got run out of town on a rail when he was busted using taxpayer money to hush a harassment suit against him 'cuz he was apparently a serial sexual harasser in the Bent Willy Clinton vein. Nanzi Pelosi, of all people, told him to resign because the load of evidence against him was too credible.
