Mass shooting at homecoming party in Greenville, Texas

A mass shooting has left at least two dead and more than a dozen injured at a homecoming party in Greenville, just northeast of Dallas, local officials and witnesses say. Only few details are currently available.

The incident happened just after midnight on Sunday when officers were called for an active shooter at The Party Venue on Highway 380 in Greenville, a city in Hunt County. Details about what happened were not immediately known.

According to initial reports, there are up to 20 gunshot victims, including multiple fatalities and serious injuries. Jason Whitely, a reporter for local ABC affiliate WFAA, said at least two people were killed and more than 12 others were injured.

A large number of emergency services, including air ambulances, were called to the scene of the shooting. There was no immediate comment from local authorities about the number of victims, and the status of the suspect(s) is unknown.

A homecoming party from Texas A&M University Commerce was reportedly taking place at the time of the shooting. WFAA-TV said the shooting involved a .227 caliber rifle. A motive is unknown.

I have scrolled through this thread multiple times on my desktop PC using Brave browser and had actually noted post #38 and that there was no comment of any kind showing. I thought was unusual, but not unheard of. Stuff happens.

However, I was using my iPhone (with Brave browser) to review my pings when I saw your post #83. When I clicked on the link you provided in the post it “magically” opened the overly large twerking graphic at #38. Oooh Wow! I reviewed the entire thread with MS Edge and I was able to see the twerking graphic at #38 immediately. Thank you so much!

My goodness, and now I realize you didn’t even post a comment until your post #80. Couldn’t you think of a more helpful comment that was a little more germane to the posted article? (Well, at least you tried.)

So there it is, and now you can sleep soundly tonight knowing that you have done your best to prevent someone from posting a comment without thoroughly scanning the entire thread. Or do I need to contact the mods and have my post #64 deleted?

BTW, have you ever considered volunteering to be a mod? I think you’d be great at it.
